Awful
I brought it several months ago, on the week I got it there was a problem with the strings. The violin itself isn't strong and it doesn't get tuned no matter who tries. I took the violin to experts and they couldn't themselves. So I DONT recommended buying this item. Thank you

Good buy
It is a good violin and very cheap. Stays in tune well and is perfectly playable. The strings are ok and doesn't need any maintanance. The bow is not wonderful but ok as an emergency violin or for a beginnner until cca gr 2-3 should be fine. The sound is surprisingly nice and rich! Case is very compact and lightweight, brilliant.. Rosin was broken into pieces which is a shame but they shipped it long way so it is not a big deal. I bought it as a holiday violin to be able to practice while I am away and it serves its purpose very well.

it is ok, but strings were very poor
The strings were difficult to tune in [we do know what we are doing!] and on Christmas Day we noted on string was stredding at the fixing point behind the bridge and then snapped at the key on the neck. The bow was fraying badly before use.We had to buy a new set of strings before it could be tuned in. which was a bit disappointing.Otherwise....time will tell.

The violin is decent except the strings and the pegs
I have owned this item for 3 days, as a start off violin. It was reasonably priced so i though if the quality wasn't to good it wouldn't of been a big hit to my wallet. the body of the violin is of good quality and condition, however the pegs refused to stay in place and constantly slipped only made worse by the fact that the bridge would pop out every time i tried to tune it, usually waiting to the string to annoy me more then finally i now have to replace the strings as one has snapped and two more are on their way. So if you decide to buy this product take into account you may need to replace some pieces, but personally i would save a little longer and get something more expensive and better quality, at the end of the day you get what you pay for and this is a prime example.

Present for Wife
This was such a good buy. My wife is loving it and is teaching herself violin. Ok, I'm guessing, given the great price, that a hardened violin player would say it isn't the best violin in the world, but my wife has had no trouble with it. It seems to stay nicely in tune and it's been a great introduction for her. When she decides to upgrade, we'll pass this on to our youngest daughter. The violin itself looks brilliant and the carry semi-hard shell case is excellent! My wife is happy, so I am, so a great buy!

I want my money back!!!!!
I need a refund immediately! I opened the box and on doing so saw that a string was already gone, the other three absolutely refused to stay in place, the bow hairs were not in place and had some flying everywhere. I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing. I want my money back!!

Incredible value for money.
This is my first violin since I was a youngster. I’m no expert, but this sounds amazing for its cost. There is a definite ring to the violin, with strong reverberation on both the highs and lows. The notes are clear and precise, whilst being pleasing to the ear. According to the book I’ve bought, to accompany my learning, you should tune a violin every time you play. It tunes perfectly and holds the notes, once you’ve stretched the strings. The bow is well-balanced. The case is good enough.

Complete piece of sh@
Was happy with the packaging and everything else, but the tuning heads don't stay tuned. As soon as you strike the string with the bow it goes out of tune. Complete piece of crap. Don't buy.
