I have throw rugs on each side of my bed on top of hardwood floors and they slid around like I was on an ice rink!! The rugs are pretty thick so I wasn’t sure a rug pad alone would hold them in place but they don’t move at all!! I like they have a bunch of different sizes and they are easily trimmed with scissors if needed. These will be my go to if I ever need a rug pad again.

I have corner grips on my other area rugs but after ordering this one I will be removing the corner grips and replacing with this pad for ease of cleaning. I was really skeptical about ordering this gripper pad because I put it in a high traffic area, my kitchen. It works great, the rug does not slip and slide, it keeps it in place and what I like the most is that I can easily remove the rug and the pad to clean the floors. The corner grips work great but they are glued to the floor so you always have to place the area rug in the right spot or you'll see the corners. This is a much better option.

It was harder to work with than I thought. I suggest cutting the piece, and laying it on the floor, and putting the carpet on top of it without trying to tape it. Tape doesn't stick well to carpet, even very good tape. Not worth the effort to tape it.

I have a large area rug that's kinda thin, so it doesn't have the weight to keep itself down. The corners are curled slightly due to being stored as well, so it's just been a massive tripping hazard until now!This thing was super easy to set up and works perfectly!!! What I did was move the rug (roll it up, this is important!) and vacuum the floor really really well. Then I pulled out the sticky and unfolded it only until I found an edge, then laid that edge down on the floor and pushed it to get it to stick, then unrolled/unfolded the sticky slowly, sticking it to the floor as I went to make sure it stayed aligned how I wanted. Then I put the rug in place and unrolled it over the sticky!It hasn't budged at all since I put it down. It wasn't hard to make small position adjustments when it was done either which is good!

I’m impressed with how well this rug pad grips. It is being used as a replacement pad for a braided area rug that no longer held the rug in place very well. I have two young medium to large and when the hit the rug running and chasing they would send the rug sliding and I was sick of moving it back in place.NOT with this Gorilla pad gripper in place the rug does not move!!. Plus it provides a thicker padding feel than the old pad. ( I did not have cheap padding previously Capel Rug padding was which did hold up for many,many years but obviously was worn out) I expect the Gorilla pad will hold up also for years and years based upon my impression so far. It was easy to fit to my Oval braided rug. Purchased the rectangle pad ( did not see an oval pad gripper choice so got the 10 x 14 size and trimmed it to fit. Plan to use the left overs for other projects.

I bought the pad to put under some small area rugs that I wanted on top of my new carpeting in areas with a lot of traffic. The pad doesn't stay attached to my 'jute ' area rugs very well; it keeps moving. So luckily I have one rug under a coffee table to keep it in place; the other I had to place small furniture pcs. on the edges to hold it in place.

These gorilla gripper pads are the best! They stay put on the floor and your rug also stays put! Don’t get the super cheap ones from Target. These are almost as inexpensive and work 100 times better!I now have them under all my rugs!

Really good rug pad. Sticks to my wood floor. Easy to cut to size. Only off by a couple of inches. I’ve had similar pads before but this is a cut above. What really impressed me was that the description said and reviews also said it made the rug feel thicker and softer and I was skeptical but it really does!

About the Gorilla Grip RugI give 25 % success. First I thought it is reasonable but I have to move prayer rug few times then it became almost useless.

Used this under the rug in my bathroom and it does not budge. Easy to cut to size and it really holds our rug in place. Definitely recommend.

It did not stay under the rug. I put tape on the corners. I need to cut it smaller than the rug. That will help I think. I can not move the rug without it coming apart.
