An excellent rock album
This record was, along with the live Tokyo Tapes, the final album the band recorded with Uli Jon Roth. It has his stamp all over it, as the band's subsequent move to mindless fist-in-the-air stadium rock proved. This album is chock full of great tunes, my personal favorites being "We'll Burn The Sky", "The Sails of Charon", "Your Light" and "Born To Touch Your Feelings". The playing on this album is superb, particularly during "We'll Burn The Sky" and "The Sails of Charon". The double harmones are brilliantly arranged and blow the likes of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest out of the water. This record was the zenith of the Scorpions career - their earlier albums having been patchy but with some great songs ("Polar Nights" from Virgin Killer is tacked on to the end of this CD - great!) and their output evrafterwards has been extremely poor. Its such a shame that the band split with their main creative force at such an early stage. This record reminds us of what might have been.

Excellent
Scorpions Fifth, and what a beast it is this band could of taken over the world , but they fragmented and new personnel were bought in ,( This did change the band) but they rose to the bait and completed a new chapter.. Best tracks have got to be `We`ll burn the sky` and the total guitar rifforama Sails of Charon...bloody amazing its worth mentioning that this was also Uli Roths last Scorps studio album, he did stay with the group to tour Japan, which is where Tokyo Tapes comes from, and this is drummer Herman Rarebell`s First.

Review of Scorpions "In Trance"
This is a superb album from the 1970s back catalogue of the well known classic rock outfit, featuring all the trademark songs and sublime musicianship from lead guitarist Uli Jon Roth that established them as the legends they are. If you like this type of music then this album ought to be required listening.

This is another brilliant Scorpions album
This is another brilliant Scorpions album, again past i had on vinyl, a good mixture of catchy rock numbers and mellow songs like "Born to Touch your Feelings ". A real earthy album, from their earlier days. well worth having if you are a real Scorpions fan, which i am, having most of their earlier works.
