First time buying dehydrated moss, and I'm really pleasantly surprised. The moss itself was still very green, and after soaking in dechlorinated water for 10 minutes it softened right up. It's a bit messy as the moss is just loose in the box, but there was lots of it which was great. Its kind of rolled up inside the cardboard, so they fit a lot in.I've used it for ground cover around the edges of my 45x45 exoterra - and to help keep more humidity in - and my boys are loving it. There's still half a box of it leftOnly downside I've found so far is that it smells strongly like a dirty aquarium? I've tried washing the moss but the smell hasn't shifted, I'm hoping the smell passes as the clean up crew get to work and it settles into the viv more. I can only really smell it when I open the viv -so it's not a major problem at the moment (i.e. not stinking my room out!)Overall, happy customer :)

Good product perfect for building frog home area

A bit expensive but very good quality. Did the job I needed it for so all good and would buy again.

Size, It covers about an a4 peice of paper. Most of it came back to life and is now growing ok. Some of it is a bit yellow brown. Makes the tank look more natural.

I have tried a few separate times (a little bit at a time), and it has gone yellow then brown each time. I tried open-air and fully enclosed.

When we received this product we were a little apprehensive as it was as dry as a bone!!We sprayed some water on it and within seconds it swelled and greened up before our eyes.Perfect for use in terrariums, a lovely, fluffy moss, one of the best available in the UK at the moment.Easily two hand sized clumps, plus spare bits to fill the box. Recommend highly!!

My harvest mice love the moss and sit on it, sometimes nibble it, and it looks pretty around their enclosure.

Awful stuff, just goes yellow as soon as you add water to it I've thrown the rest in the bin and bought some live fresh moss instead.
