Copic Denkeshi Electric Eraser [Office Product]

This is the best battery-powered electric eraser I've ever used. I've tried Helix (which was good but died earlier than I expected), Derwent (so-so) and various others.This "Denkeshi/Copic" is fast and strong. It doesn't lose as much power as the others I've tried, and it really only loses speed/power when bearing down, not just from using it for a long time at the same pressure. It's well-built, unlike most new products being manufactured today. Also noticeably quieter than the other cheaper ones I've tried.My only advice about this product is to remember you may need to refer back to this Amazon listing if you want to know what the different colored eraser refills are for, because EVERYTHING (packaging, instructions, paperwork etc.) that arrives with this eraser is in Japanese ONLY. You will want to know which interchangeable refill is supposed to be used for what substance (WHITE eraser refill is for pencil, graphite; GREEN eraser refill is for ink, etc...) I bought this in Nov 2014, so hopefully they've fixed this.

I had previously written a review saying that I found this to be a poor eraser for of all things Fineliners made by Copic the company that makes this eraser. I have since found that I had to hold it a bit differently and then it worked great. I also bought an inexpensive Derwent eraser which I use soley for pencil. That way I do not have to change tips constantly while drawing. I use this one for inks and the other for pencil. It's a great combination and very much time saving.

This eraser is the best one ive used . It does the job wonderfully , II realise this is a lot more expensive than the jakar one , but its well worth the extra a good powerful motor and has no problems removing mistakes or even being used for texturing in conjunction with an airbrush . Huge thumbs up . Downside is the lengh of time in postage as mine came from japan . but in ordering from japan not from the UK I saved over £20 .

An absolutely dream to use and does the job in seconds. It doesn't matter that the instructions are in Japanese as assembly is straight forward and obvious.

Does erase very well it's a bit too fast tho you need to be super carefull or it spins all over the paper

Most useful. Use it all the time for shading techniques also.
