They were ok , but just ok green paint comes off easy when hammering into ground so pointless really, also they bend very easy when putting into ground so a lot of them ruined there was a lot in the pack so more than coped with the area I needed to do, but if you have a large area to do buy more to compensate for this

We used these to secure some artificial grass directly onto a substrate of granite dust, weed membrane and under-soil.Pros - We picked this particular product because of the good price point, the fact that the green colour would keep them well hidden and the fact that they are designed for people not securing their grass with wood battening. The item was packaged securely and delivery was prompt.Cons - The pegs are not very strong. Bear in mind, the substrate into which these were being secured was reasonably soft, several of the first few pegs bent out of shape upon impact with a standard claw hammer. In trying to prevent this happening again, I switched to a rubber mallet but unfortunately encountered the same issue in places. The pegs that we were able to secure caused bunching of the surrounding areas of artificial grass which was difficult to correct (i.e. trying to pull individual grass strands from out of the horizontal section of each pin). Additionally, the depression it leaves in the top of the grass was obvious (even from a distance) after correction. Whilst it did (eventually) secure the grass to the substrate, if you're looking for a decent aesthetic I wouldn't recommend these. We ended up removing the pegs and instead used 6 inch galvanised nails which were cheaper and much easier to hide among the pile of the grass.

Unless you are using these into stone free, soft soil, you will find they are fairly useless. About 50% of them crumpled beyond use, virtually instantly - to get 9 in, we threw away 12 and then resorted to old tent pegs. We were only trying to pin down a little bit of astro-turf laid on well prepared ground, but which was firm following a few dry days. Save your money and find a different solution

Arrived in swift time. Bought before these as there are sturdy enough to stick into ground without forcing them providing clear of any stones. I hear what folk mention regarding the green paint comes off,but despite that it's relevant as they are hidden in the ground anyway.

Great size, does a great job of securing artificial grass.Only niggle is that the green comes off if using a hammer to whack them into the ground. Might be a good idea to use a rubber mallet instead.

Read a couple of reviews that mentioned that the green coating came off as soon as you knocked these pegs into the ground. I used a rubber mallet and had no problem. As described and work well for my needs.

Bought to fix weed control mesh and artificial grass, a few bent as they were being knocked into the ground with a rubber mallet. Overall they were fine and are doing the job.
