I bought this as a gift for a friend and she loves it. It is a decent size and the seal is very good so perfect for snacks. Overall a very cute hello kitty jar. I might have to snag one for myself.

Ever bought something for yourself and thought: I'm kind of disappointed with this... but NOT because it's a bad product -- in fact, you actually do LIKE the thing? I bought this not really knowing what, if anything, to use it for -- truly one of those rarest of rarest things in my life... a purely "On Impulse" purchase. ~ (Guess they must've successfully gotten their hooks in me with my prior Coffee Mug purchases from these good folks.) The "disappointment" comes in relation to what I was expecting, which was just a simple straight-up all-ceramic lid -- you know... the kind which just "rests in place" atop of the mouth opening. Instead, this is constructed with a rubber gasket around the rim of the lid, which I actually would've appreciated... EXCEPT that it produces a weak seal! That's right... the same guy who would've been perfectly okay with an "unsealed" lid semi-upset that it's made with a seal that does not hold very tightly. I'm not really a fan of the "hollow" design of the lid either (personal aesthetic quirk). I'm not unhappy with it, but I'm also sort of non-committal about it at the same time. I can see where some people would like it and make good use of it, and it's as sturdy as it is cute. Doesn't really work for *ME* so much (I'm currently using it to store the remainder of my hot cocoa powder mix, just so I could get rid of that ugly original tin the factory packed it into), but I can definitely see this being a welcome addition to others' lives for any variety of purposes. (Less one star, but only because the sealing gasket is not quite as tight-holding as I would've felt was beyond being just sufficient enough.)
