I was impressed with how quick and easy this was to use. I just combed my hair over a white piece of paper on a desk and then took 3/4 strands of hair that fell out and posted it in the clear packet and self addressed envelope that comes with it the same day. I got my results back by email 2 - 3 working days later and it was an interesting read. It's definitely accurate on some tolerances I already knew that I had and it's also made me question some others of which I wasn't aware. If anything it's helped speed up the process of narrowing down other things to try and helped me understand where I need to boost my diet with certain vitamins or minerals or take supplements to avoid some areas where I'm a little bit deficient. For me this was a good starting point and it has given me some useful pointers given that it's relatively inexpensive

I have a few allergies known to myself, but have had odd reactions to some food that I wanted investigated. I had to email and message multiple times to receive my results, which I finally got after 3 weeks. The results show things I am absolutely not allergic to as this has been cleared by food allergen specialists in hospital, and did not pick up any of my known allergens (Nuts, Gluten etc). So not only did I have to nag them for 3 weeks for my result, I then got results which are not accurate.

I ordered this test after being fed up of almost constant tummy issues. I think it took a bit longer than a few days to get the results but I posted and forgot about it so it was a surprise when I got the results! Anyway turns out I have an intolerance to my fave veg, mushrooms. Would never have thought of them being the problem at all. Anyway I can’t vouch for the test being 100% accurate yet as I now have to cut them out of my diet to see if that was the cause or not. Also I knew I am deficient in vitamin c and that was on there too with a few other things so will be getting myself some multi vitamins and hopefully see some improvements in my health. Oh and also I have the answer to what triggers my hayfever! So can now avoid those things too.

The test was a lot more comprehensive than I was expecting.It confirmed some of the food Intolerances I had suspected and also identified a few new ones ! Very useful info on vitamin/mineral deficiencies which I can get to work on.Likewise on the biome/gut which indicated a depletion of a couple of good bacterial strains. All in all, very pleased with the detail of the report.Took about 9 days for results.Excellent value for money, they charge £55 for the exact same test on their website. One suggestion would be to include a list of all tems which were tested for (975 in my case), with the intolerance test results.Helps to see at a glance which foods tested at less than the 85% sensitivity, as these do not appear in your results.This would help with identifying those tested foods which you can tolerate, should you need to put a new diet together.I did find the full list on the website but it would help to have this info with the emailed results.

I don't know how valid and believable these tests are... can the results truly be trusted? However... although I was sceptical... I bought a test kit, and the results were shocking. I had been taking for over 2 years, many supplements, including vitamin K and methyl vitamin B complex capsules... good trusted brands for both. The last thing I expected was to be told that I was deficient in vitamins K, B1 and B2, amongst many others. Then I looked more closely at what the symptoms are for these deficiencies and what could explain poor absorption. I had the symptoms for all the deficiencies listed... and when you analysed the data, some of the deficiencies were explained through other deficiencies. I started taking a different well absorbed B1 supplement almost immediately and felt the difference within a week... I started taking silica... and felt the difference after a month... so you tell me? Is this a good test or not and can the results be trusted? For me at least, it seems to be what it says it is... and it is already helping me to solve many problems. However, I have to agree with other customers... the results are not received within 7 days... and the bag they provide for your hair samples is pitiful... I replaced mine with a food grade zip locked sandwich bag... and they are slow to reply to emails. Customer service isn't great at all. I would still buy the product again though, seeing as it has worked for me, and the pros outweigh the cons in my case... I intend to buy another test in a few months time... to see if my results have improved... I bought the advanced 704 items test... that may be relevant too?

Easy to do. The results that Usman helped me with her quite a surprise. Explains why I feel bloated most of the time and what I need to cut out. Good value for money.

I am very pleased with this kit, the box contains only a little sachet for hair collection, instruction and a mail envelope. I sent everything via mail, in 10 days I got the results via email and WOW! The amount of food I am sensible to is astonishing, and a lot of items I eat daily! But the test not only reports food, it includes also substances like food preserver which I am sensible to. It also categorise foods in highly sensible or a little sensible. Much recommended and much cheaper than the local lab!

I’ve had four hair sensitive tests carried out by 4 different companies on the same day. All gave completely different results with absolutely no correlation between any of them. This test was the only one where the results didn’t arrive and I had to chase them. I then got send an Un-named very superficial set of results that clearly don’t relate to me. This test is a complete waste of money. If you really want to try a hair test then avoid this one.
