Dragon Rider Audio CD – Unabridged, 10 May 2005

"this is the best book I have ever read" said my 11 year old goddaughter. There. That's the most powerful review. Her mum said she stopped caring about anything around her as soon as she started reading it. Read it last thing at night, at the breakfast table etc. etc. When she'd finished it my goddaughter said to me "I'm taking it on holiday and I'm reading it again". I also gave my goddaughter "Saving Mississippi" by Cornelia Funke which she also enjoyed but said Dragon Rider was "way better".

My 10 year old son found this very boring for some reason, getting him to read it felt like i was trying to pull his tooth, but then he is not fond of reading even though he is quite smart.

Most books about dragons have been short in comparison. This was a great read and me and my kids enjoyed it together. The sequel is equally good so I recommend reading both.

I loved this book and couldn't stop reading it ... It's a real adventure story :-) I thought it started a bit slow tbh though ... Keep going past the first couple of chapters - it's definitely worth it!

Nicely written and good to have different nationalities woven into the story. Our 5 year olds loved hearing it and will no doubt be looking for the fabulous creatures alongside their dinosaurs!

grandkids love it and that's what matters

Really good book with a greatly interesting storyline which captured my attention and imagination and I just couldn't stop reading it! I can't wait to see the movie which I have just learned is due to be out in July 2019, although the movies are never as good as the books!!
