I had gone through several dog tags for my 80lb pup, and they all didn't last more than 3 weeks. The engraving and lettering either got scratched, chewed on, or the tag made a lot of noise. I ordered this tag because I really liked the slide-on feature, which would eliminate the noise that is usually associated with ring tags. I also loved the high quality of the material. Our dog has worn it for over a month now, and it still looks brand new. Be sure to check the measurements and style of your dog's collar before ordering. This slide on tag works best on collars that buckle, not the adjustable cinch collars. The tag won't slide past the adjustable section of those types of collars unless the ribbon can be unraveled all the way.

I love Winnie’s new tag! It’s very sturdy and easy to read! I used it a bit differently. I bought the smallest tag for my 80lb pitbull. He wears a loose chain for a collar, and he loves his bling! It makes tags very noisy though. I bought the smallest of these tags and attached each end to a link in the chain with a metal ring. It lies flat, stays quiet, and adds a little more sparkle to his necklace.

Wish I had ordered the large, the small is to little to put on anything but maybe a cat collar! Print is way to small to read.

I hate giving this only 4 stars because it is exactly as advertised. It’s a high grade stainless steel plate with the name and contact info etched onto the surface. There’s no reason why this tag won’t last the life of your dog. But I have to take a star off because it is so difficult finding a leash that will work with this. You can’t use the common leashes with plastic buckles on the ends. The tag can’t slide over the buckles. And most leather leashes are too thick to pass through the openings. After lots of searching I finally found a cheap synthetic material leash that worked. Here’s a pro tip, get the large tag, no matter the size of your dog. Because those tags have bigger slots for the leash to pass through and it really doesn’t make a difference to the dog. If anything, they’re safer for the dog because they’re more legible due to the larger font.

While the tags are very nice, maybe there should be a notice of what types of collars they work for and don't work for. I had assumed (obviously erroneously) that the tag came unsnapped in the back so that I could snap it on the front of our dog's collar. Nope - it's all one piece that requires you to slide it on. Again, nothing wrong with the tag; it appears well made. But since it was personalized, I can't send it back and it's useless to us.

They say it’s supposed to fit an inch wide color I got news for you it doesn’t even come close! Do not buy this I had to buy a special 1 inch black color do you use this with and it didn’t even fit! Barbie where this is terrible. The name tag itself looks fantastic I really like it but I can’t use it and it’s very disappointing! Don’t bother

I like the product overall. Originally I thought I was getting ones that were curved to be more ergonomic for the puppies necks. These ones are flat. I was able to easily make adjustments with my hands to make it flow with the neck shape of my dogs. The customization is my favorite part. It is clean, easy to read script. This really helped my dog that is a bit of a rough player, I no longer have to worry about the tag ripping off.

Love this tag, I waited a while to write a review making sure it held up.. still looks brand new several months later! My dogs are large and rambunctious and seem to tear up everything.The extra lines are great for adding additional info and the tag fits snug on the collar doses not shift at all.
