The perfect paper for fountain pens, and burning rituals
First, this paper is perfect for writing. I have a Hondigan fountain pen with an extra-fine tip, and I use Hondigan black ink. Writing is smooth, blotch-free, and does not bleed to the other side. You cannot see the writing on the other side without holding it up to a light. It is a joy to write on.I have read reviews where people compare the thickness to tracing paper, but it is somewhere between tracing paper and standard printing paper. The thickness is perfect. If you are performing a burning ritual, it burns rapidly and thoroughly. I fold mine in half twice before burning, and it's a very satisfying and dramatic effect without being an uncontrollable conflagration. It is so thin and lightweight that there is not much smoke. You can light the bottom edge with a candle or lighter and drop it in your ash bowl. It will completely burn. This paper is perfect for burning rituals. The size is also perfect for burning rituals. There is enough room to write on both sides and fold it twice so that no text is visible without cutting it.I will use this paper for all my burning rituals forever. It si perfect.

Great light-weight fountain pen paper for when you need more pages in less space.
Tomoe River paper is renowned for its thinness while still preventing bleed-through of fountain pen inks. I purchased this to make refills for my Midori Traveler's Notebook. It is beneficial in applications like that where you want minimal thickness to obtain maximum number of pages in a given space. There is also a unique aesthetic factor this paper provides with a bit of "crinkle" to the pages. This paper is similar to what you find in many bibles, where to use regular paper would make the book extremely thick. While this is listed as a "white" paper, it is really off-white. I would say "cream" would be a better description. Also, it is important to note that while this paper does a great job of preventing bleed-through (ink soaking through to opposite side) it does not fully prevent ghosting (ink showing through as a shadow). With its thinness there is just no way to prevent being able to see the text on the opposite side of the page. The amount of ghosting that occurs will differ depending on what you write with and the thickness of the writing instrument. I would say this is the paper's biggest limiting factor. I prefer to use a very fine or fine nib pen when I use this paper, to limit the see-through.Overall, it is great paper. One last thing for anyone who wonders, this paper CAN be used in a laser printer. I print lines on the pages I make for my notebook with no trouble. There is an occasional page with a crinkle in it, but I would say this happens less than 5% of the time - pretty impressive for such a thin paper. I didn't need to use a "lead-in" sheet or anything.

Perfect! I’m VERY happy & satisfied 😊
First time trying Tomoe River Paper & I wish I did sooner. I love it! It shows off the beauty of various inks & the paper is very soft & smooth. It works out to 19cents per sheet which isn’t too bad when you realize that non-TRP notebooks average roughly 16 cents per sheet. I quite think that the difference is worth it for the quality of paper that you get. Will be buying more but I’m not sure what I’ll be using them all for yet 🤣EDIT: after using this notebook for a few weeks, I’m still very satisfied. I like the way inks are shown off on this paper; shading, shimmer & wetness. It’s so satisfying to see.Just beware that the paper is quite thin. Almost like those used in bibles. With that, if you have a heavy hand, you’ll get some writing impressions on the other sheets & ink MIGHT show through depending on the color & type of ink you’re using. None of these things are issues for me. It doesn’t affect legibility or use of the sheets.

Great Paper!
I like the flexibility of the soft cover. The ornate decorative print is a nice touch, and I just noticed that there is a dot grid printed on it.The paper feels thin, but not cheap at all! I've used two different fountain pens (inexpensive Pilot and a Lamy Al-Star) with Pilot iroshizuko (red) ink and Pelikan 4001 (turquoise) and there is no bleed-through or even ghosting on the flip side of the page. I don't write on the left side, so I don't know how that would look. The paper is also very smooth to write on, and both nibs just glide over it in a very pleasing way. I knew right away it was a much better paper than the papers I was previously using.

Great thin paper for fountain pen writing
My favorite paper for showing off fountain pen ink qualities. It's super thin, almost like tracing paper, so it's not super practical, but I love using it to practice writing. The smoothness is great and it never catches on my dip pens either.

Excelente producto
El papel es delgado y de muy buena calidad. Perfecto para usar con pluma fuente. La tinta no traspasa el papel, ni se corre.

Super paper for fountain pens
After three years waiting, I have finally got it again! It was delivered faster than said and is exactly the same as what I used to buy three years ago. A big Thank You to the seller. I have been using different kinds of paper for fountain pen hand writing, but this one is the best of all. It is thin, light, and very smooth. You can write on both sides of the paper if you wanted to and no ink goes through to the other side. I like it very much and would definitely recommend it.
