THIS COLLAR WORKS!
I have a young Australian Cattle Dog that is hard and willfull; a great watch dog! he continual barking was an issue. I have two cheaper bark collars that had little hit and miss effect on him. With this collar he is more calm and quiet. He seems happy and does not shy away when I put it on him. I am happier, and I am certain that my neighbors are relieved. I will post an up date when I see how long this collar lasts. Do not waste your money on those cheap collars. Whether $10 or $30, if they look alike and take 4LR44 6volt batteries, they are probably the exact same collar. This collar is easily rechargeable, simple to manage, and really works. AND! It is heavier duty. No batteries to change! However, I just ordered TWO of these from Amazon for he price of this one collar.ipolex Stop Dogs Barking Sound & Vibration, Small & Large Dogs, Humane Anti Bark Training Collar.Best No Bark Control Collar,Safe Pet Waterproof Deviceby ipolexBe the first to review this itemPrice: $12.99 & FREE Shipping. DetailsEditing in: It seems to be holding up so well, I bought a second one for my other dog. Don't be fooled by price variations! If they look exactly the same, they are the same. Buy the lowest price! In the long term this is a less expensive battery that those with replaceable batteries. So much easier to use. So much more reliable.4 Sept 18: Two year old collar still working. The rubber plug fell off of the charging port. I only have to charge it once a week or so, So I put a couple new pieces of black electrical tape over the port. Seems impervious to rain. Thee is an occasional quick, maybe once a month. The collar seems to shut off and my cattle dog barks hi butt off. I bring him in, and turn the collar on, back off, then back on. It has always worked. That Cattle Dog always has to try the collar out when he goes out at night. I don't know about him. It is set on 7 and it bites! I have felt it. There is a lasting sting. He is a tuff little turd, and he pushes boundaries. This is just the collar for him. I would start a pup or soft dog on 1-3 and see where it goes. Tough hard dog is probably going to need 7. It Works! If you find the same collar for less, buy it! Charges off of my computer in less than an hour. The light goes out when it is fully charged. It works best fully charged! Keep in mind, it is electronic circuits and sometimes strange things will happen.5 Sept 18: Weird! I up date my review, and the over 2 years old one won't shut off this morning. It lasted over two years! Still works. Just won't shut off. That Cattle dog has been hard on it, though. I'm buying another just like it. See one for 29.99.Editing in 10 Sept 18: I studied the collar that would shut off. The old dog bit it! Bit it right on the on button. It still works! Just doesn't shut off. I just take it off in the morning and put it n a drawer. Still takes a charge and it adjustable. The charge still lasts a good week. I also found the same collar on here for $16 with shipping included Exact same collar. Came in exact same box! I have three of them, now. And two old battery collars! The 11.99 collar is called "Wefoo Bark Collar".

Works great until it didn't
This is the third no-bark dog collar I've purchased, and of the 3 I like this one the best. My dog is a small mixed breed, and LOVES to bark. However after wearing this collar (daytime only from 9 am until 5 pm) for one day, she has stopped even trying to bark. I have the levels set low, the vibrate is on 7 and the shock is on 5. My dog is only 10 pounds, so for her I'm sure that's a jolt, but it really does not hurt the dog. I've shocked myself with this collar and it's not pleasant, but it did not hurt and I don't think it hurt my dog either. I recommend you be there when you first put it on the dog, and monitor his/her reaction when she tries to bark. When my dog barked the first time with this collar on, she shook her head and turned around and walked away. It only took the second bark for her to stop completely, and she is a very stubborn little thing! Get it, it works, and your neighbors will be happy you did.UPDATE: This collar stopped working after 3 months. Too late to return! I'll buy another because it seems that she knows now when she doesn't have it on and she will still bark. This time I'll pay extra for the warranty that Amazon offers on check-out. As this is already my 2nd purchase of this item, I believe they are just not made to last. Hopefully with the warranty I'll be able to get the next one replaced.

Stopped working after one month!
Update: After just a month of occasional use, the shock setting stopped working. Now it beeps and vibrates even when my poor dog is panting or most other ambient noises. Would not recommend this collar.I have a 90 pound weimaraner that had developed the bad habit of barking frantically at me in the house every time I was on my feet walking, doing chores, or just moving room to room. He would also try to “herd” me by nipping at my ankles. I tried for months to make him stop - from clicker training to sit/stay, firm correction (no hitting). Nothing worked. Then one day he charged at me from behind, barking and almost knocked me over. He was playing but it was dangerous. So...I purchased this bark collar.Pros: it has multiple vibrate, beep, and shock settings. You can ramp up the correction until your dog knows that barking has a negative consequence. It’s worked very quickly to alter his behavior. I started at just a beep, then moved to vibrate. Finally got results when I set it to beep, vibrate, and shock at level 3. It immediately stops the barking.Cons: I have a deep chested dog with a deep “voice.” Even a groan will set off the collar, like this morning when he stood up and stretched, and got a shock. The collar works but I still feel like a mean person for causing him discomfort. One warning. Somehow the shock setting got changed because yesterday he barked, then yelped and fell down. I immediately checked the collar and it was at shock setting 6. Be very careful and check the settings every time you put the collar on your pet. I felt like the worst person ever for causing him pain. Also, I would advise only leaving the collar on for short periods. This morning I left it on him for 2 hours. Since removing it, he has not barked at me. I will now only put it on when he needs correction.
