Cuisinart Salad Spinner, Spin Stop Function, 5-Qt, Green/White, CTG-00-SAS1

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how much I use this salad spinner. It’s great for lettuce, but I’ve found myself reaching for it to wash and dry beans, corn, cauliflower, and other vegetables too. It does an excellent job removing excess water, which helps veggies roast better and keeps salads from getting watery. The 5-quart size is perfect for making family-sized portions, and the spin mechanism is smooth and easy to use. I also like the stop button, which makes it simple to control without waiting for it to slow down on its own. Cleanup is quick, and it has held up well with regular use. If you’re looking for a versatile kitchen tool that does more than just spin salad, this one is definitely worth having.

I recently purchased the Cuisinart Large Spin Stop Salad Spinner (5qt, CTG-00-SAS1) for our family of six, and it’s a total game-changer in the kitchen! The 5-quart capacity is ideal for washing, spinning, and drying large batches of salad greens, fruits, and vegetables, easily handling enough for our big family meals. The spin mechanism is super smooth and effortless, and the stop feature works perfectly, halting the spin instantly for precise control. What I love most is how easy it is to add and drain water without removing the lid, thanks to the convenient pour spout. This makes the washing process so much faster and less messy. The locking lid is secure, preventing any leaks, and the clear bowl doubles as an attractive serving bowl for family dinners. I also appreciate the non-skid base, which keeps the spinner firmly in place on the counter during use—no slipping or sliding! The construction feels sturdy and durable, promising years of use, and it’s a breeze to clean. This salad spinner is a fantastic value for the price and a must-have for anyone who loves fresh, crisp salads. Highly recommend

I bought this salad spinner for my daughter-in-law, my husband bought me the same one a few years ago and I love it. It is sturdy as it has a rubber that is on the bottom so it sticks to surfaces and the handle that spins the inner cage is too, it also has a stopper so you can stop the spinning action quickly if you need to. The water drains out of the top without having to remove the top so you can give it another spin if you need . The design makes it possible to keep one hand on the top of the bowl while the other hand spins the cage the top is held on my a very securely with a clasp. The clear plastic bowl that comes with it is strong. The inner cage that the veggies sit on inside the bowl is easy to insert and remove for easy handling and washing. Make sure it says Cuisinart, there are other brands that look just like it, so be careful when ordering. I bought the larger size so you can wash a half a head of lettuce at one time. My daughter-in-law said she uses it for other veggies and fruit as well. I'm going to buy another one for my daughter too.

This salad spinner works great. Easy to use. Holds plenty. The reason for 4 stars is that it is made of hard plastic. If you drop it, it will probably break. My old one that I had for years was made of soft plastic, but the mechanism finally wore out. Pretty much impossible to replace that one. So, if you’re careful with it, this one is excellent.

Bowl is made of cheap plastic and started cracking after the first use and wash I did on it. Even though it says you can put it in the dishwasher I don’t to hopefully make it last longer, but it keeps cracking and now it’s leaking. Don’t buy

Quick delivery, works well, easy to spin

I grow my own lettuce and eat a lot of salads: having this spinner is quite handy. It does a great job of removing most of the water it was washed in. I keep it on my countertop because I use it so often.

valeu muito a pena. excelente qualidade e o preço compensou!

I should've read the reviews more carefully. This is not a Cuisinart salad spinner but a cheaply made dupe.

Does what a salad spinner does. It is sturdy, easy to use, and easy to clean. I like the clamps, so I dont have to hold the lid on. Also the spouse , i just put it in the sink and spin it would recommend.

I love this spinner. I bought one in August from a different supplier for only $20 and when I went to buy one as a gift for Christmas, it was sold out. So I bought one through another supplier for around $26 and when it arrived it was a cheap knock-off. Returned it and bought this one, unfortunately had to pay $30. If you are not purchasing from this supplier, make sure you check before buying that it has the brake — this model has a brake (the cheaper one did not), sturdy clips that attach the lid to the base (the cheaper one had flimsy thin clips), and a much sturdier handle to spin with. Very happy with this product — easy to use, doesn’t wobble on the counter thanks to the rubber on the base, feels sturdy when spinning, easy to clean.

O secador de saladas é excelente!
