Juiced Systems BossDOCK USB-C Ultra 5K Universal Docking Station - 6 USB 3.0 Ports - Dual 4K Monitor Support - 5K Resolution - Gigabit Ethernet - Audio Input - USB-C and USB-A Supported

I went through three different docking stations before I found this one and wish I started here! The Juiced Systems BossDOCK USB-C Ultra 5K Universal Docking Station does an excellent job and offers all that I was looking for. Other docking stations seemed to be missing items, too bulky or just didn't work. Juiced Systems BossDOCK DOCK WORKS PERFECT and has everything you need: 2 HDMI ports / 2 Display port (not the mini display) which is great, so one of kind of cable for both monitors, where other docks had 1 HDMI and 1 Display Port so 2 cables. Juiced Systems BossDOCK also has an ethernet port for internet access, a ton of USB 3 ports so all my other items are now hooked up. The best part was - I powered on the dock, plugged in a single Type-C cable into my Alienware 17 R4 and everything worked. Didn't need drivers or looking around in the control panel to set it up etc. The Juiced Systems BossDOCK is small and sleek looking and clears my desk area. This dock is BRILLIANT.

The product may be great for some, but I really had a hard time with the fact it was not plug and play. It required installing drivers, and then once all setup, it required some multi video software built into the drivers to be configured. Which was not working as per the directions with my computer. In any case, I found other devices that were total plug and play without requiring installing any software/drivers etc. It sounded neat in concept; I liked the idea of having all the ports, but not worth the trouble.

Works perfectly with my Macbook Pro and I have never had a problem. I was forced to use other dongles once I purchased the new Macbook. I went through 3 other adapters (all of which were sub-par to my needs). The BossDOCK really has everything I need and a little more. Aside from its 6 USB-3.0 ports, I like the fact that it has its own power source. Got to say I'm also a fan of it's design. It's good on my desk and keeps everything neat and organized. This is probably the best docking station I've ever used.

Dual 4k @ 60Hz over DisplayPort. Finally!I have purchased four of these for various Dell and Lenovo laptops and each one works great. Just download and install your drivers and you should be good to go.

That dock is great for everything else but watching video. I have a single 4K ASUS MG28UQ monitor connected to the dock via DP1.2. Everything is working fine, but massive frame drops during Video playback on that monitor.
