Epson LW-C610PX Premium Portable Bluetooth Label Machine Printer – Create Sticker Labels for Organization, Small Business, Designer Tape Supported, App Compatible

I'm surprised this label maker is underrated, it's far capable compared to the offbrands that are on Amazon. Epson is reputable company known for their printers, it was between this and Dymo. I've used the Dymo before, however this time around I wanted one I can plug-in to an outlet without dealing with batteries, and also forgo the blackberry style keyboard and screen and just connect over bluetooth. Did I also mention this has a lifetime warranty? Plus there's a plethora of cartridges, you can print labels on ribbons or even magnetic strips. I plan to enjoy this for many years to come! Love the quality of the printed output and all the tape type options. The printer feels very high quality in its build also. Highly recommend this printer.

I like this label maker. It produces excellent labels, but it could be better. The Bluetooth connection drops after several labels and sometimes even before the first label is printed. When this happens there is a long timeout period you must wait for before you can re-connect. Also, it is unable to connect with Bluetooth on a laptop so you have to use the phone app to create and print the labels. I knew this before I made the purchase but it would be great if it would also work with laptops for when you have to make a lot of labels.

LABELWORKS Epson LW-C610PX has a square design that I like, it also works well with a variety of tapes, including the heat-shrink tubing.However, there are cons, such as clunky app. The app looks and feels old, and poorly designed. I appreciate the inclusion of many features, but the design and usability are just not what I expect.For example, it seems too sensitive on the size slider and often wants to go to the min or max size, rather than incrementally. Another example is that id does not keep the centering settings, when you change the text. Also, it takes you though several screens before you get to the one you need.Connectivity: yes it has a Bluetooth, but it only works with one app on the phone, which limits the usability.Cartridges are super expensive and will quickly add up to cost more than the printer, which I am sure is true for other manufacturers, unless you buy off-brand labels. One more thing, you have to peel the corners for many original tapes.Printing: Quality seems to be good, but 8 times out of 10 it creates 1/2" waste squares for no apparent reason. I know I can use work arounds, but still this is annoying.I still think this is better than using printers with keyboards and small screens, but I just wish this would be much more modern. I have very little to no experience with other brands, so I cannot make a comparison here, it is possible that other brands are not any better.After using this to print a couple dozen labels, I still think this is a good choice for what it is.
