Very good earphones at a very reasonable price
Cheap earphones are always a gamble. Some last for two weeks, some last much more and offer a very good audio quality. This product definitely falls in the second category.I bought them six months ago now, and they still work perfectly fine even though I've been using them on a daily basis (2-3 hours a day). I'm not an audio expert but the sound quality seems extremely good to me. The bass are deep and well balanced, and although the high end of the spectrum does not have the level of details and precision audiophile earphones would offer, it is far far better and clearer than what the ear buds supplied with your mp3 player can offer. The design is cool (white with a metal ring) and they fit in my ears perfectly (they don't fall and isolate you well).I would recommend them to anyone looking for a significant upgrade of their mp3 earphone at an affordable price.I would not recommend them to someone looking for a breathtaking sound quality/audiophile product (but he won't find anything breath-taking for less than 150£ anyway!).

great sound quality, lasts for about a year
got one pair the end of January and the sound quality is mind blowing, absolutely amazing and easily comparable with much more expensive Sennheiser. Having used them pretty much every day since then, listening to my music or watching movies on my ipod on my way to and from work, the plastic bit, where the lead goes into the connector has finally gave up and broke slightly. I tried to fix it with some elastic insulating tape but I think there must be a problem somewhere inside the connector itself, so I am now loosing on sound quality, but this is mostly due to the fact that I always store my ipod with my headphones tied around it which was always stretching that plastic bit. So in my opinion any other headphones would have given up after that time.Bought a Maxell replacement in Maplin today, which were more expensive and I am shocked by how poor the sound quality is so I am ordering a second pair of those today.Giving 5 stars for the sound quality and brilliant noise reduction.

Okay but......
The shallow back end of these makes them much more comfortable if you fall asleep wearing them but they don't last very long so I always order two pairs at a time. They are no better or worse than more expensive headphones I've bought in the past. The sound quality seems good to my middle-aged ears and they certainly block out a lot of background noise. I would have given them four stars if they had actually been equipped with the in-line volume control described in the listing but this is just a figment of someone's imagination! A bit of false advertising there!

Badly out of balance, i must have a bad set
I had a pair of the black Exspect EX882 earbuds and the sound was great, they broke after 2 months but sounded well for those 2 months so i bought a pair of these white ones Exspect EX883 and i'm guessing i just have a bad pair as the sound is just horrid its so strongly weighted to the left ear there barely useable.

My Favourite So Far
Having tried almost all big name earphones for several years and having found them to be unreliable and not at all durable, I purchased these for the first time from an HMV sale for the current Amazon price. The first set lasted for 3 years, before I accidentally pulled the code from the jack on a dentist's chair recently!I recommend these to anyone, because the sound quality is exceptional and durability is phenomenal, if you take good care of the earphones, that is. It is great value for money and also is environmentally sound because of the durability.

Excellent Value & Surprisingly Decent Sound
Title says it all really. I'm very impressed with these. For something as cheap as £5-6 incl P&P I didn't expect much but they are very decent. Sound has good clarity & base &, though maybe not as good as my more expensive set, I'd defintely recommend them. In fact I've just bought a second pair in case these break since that's the only possible problem that I can foresee. Enjoy!

didn't last long
Bought these on the basis of previous reviews, which were mostly glowing and mainly because people said they wouldn't fall out when running. My first listen told me that the sound quality was excellent, so good start. But I tried all 3 sizes of earbud and they all feel out when I ran. And then one ear stopped working after less than a month. To summarize: sound good but don't last long (in my experience)

Happy now - thanks Amazon.
The earphones arrived very quickly but I realised straight away that there was no sound at all on one side. After years of buying stuff from Amazon I'd never had to return a product before so I geared myself up for what I assumed would be a minor ordeal. In fact a few clicks of a mouse resolved the issue - a replacement was in the post the next day and this one was perfect. I had the faulty item boxed up and ready to return with the prepaid sticker I printed from Amazon's site, but an email said not to bother posting it because the international postage cost would have been more than the item was worth. The earphones themselves are fine - I bought them to be comfortable for listening to podcasts while gardening, and I can recommend them heartily for that. They don't fall out or make my ears sore like the last ones I had.So I'm impressed both with Amazon's returns process and with the earphones. Credit where credit's due.
