I bought these knowing they would probably not work well. First trying to find a spot on the dash of a rig to put these is hard and then the sticky wore off pretty soon because we were moving it around too much. We washed them off and now I have them on my night stand to put the remote and other things I don't want falling off when I bump the stand. The stand really didn't stick to itself and wouldn't hold up the phone. We didn't really play around with it that much to figure out if we were doing it right but it wouldn't work just sticking it to the phone then to itself.

I have had a heck of a time with this product. I have dogs and their hair along with everything else gets stuck to it rendering it useless. They do wash easily but I needed something to take with me throughout the day and I don't always have the convenience of being able to wash it for continued use.

However, after trying it, I have recommended to few of my friends.

Works great when brand new and clean. It gets dirty quickly and requires frequent cleaning in order to be effective. The clear plastic sheet that is supposed to be used to keep it protected when not in use is not practical and because it is clear it is hard to find. I would tint the shield. I got tired of cleaning the pad.

A nifty solution for cars with odd dashes.One of my cars doesn't have any good place for the normal mounts (like cd style) and this was a good workaround. I like the versatility too.

It’s not sticking to my steering wheel for more than 30 seconds and phone falls off of it too! Won’t stick to my dashboard either!!
