The nonmagnetic kind. It is slightly magnetic, but I consider that is the case with the 304 grade. I was attracted to the price and the corrosion resistance. I am mounting an LED to it and using it as a heat sink for an underwater pool light. Drilling several holes through them is easy with grade 42 Colbalt drill bits.

I purchased these stainless steel discs for behind drawer pools on a 1953 house. The only thing that would have been better, is to have a pre-drilled hole, but that was not their intended purpose, I'm sure.I am very happy with the way they turned out for my house.

Pitted and not smith as advertised. Also, as others have noted, NOT steel but cheap aluminum - note how even a rare earth magnet doesn’t move it at all

The discs dimensions were accurate. The surface of each disc is so scratched and marred I was unable to polish out enough to use for engraving.
