These hooks have been up in my children's bathroom or a year now and they haven't broken. The hooks they slightly bend if someone were to hang on them but even with my kids yanking their towels off the hooks these have stayed their shape and haven't rusted. They are not shiny. They're true Matte black and I screwed them into a board not drywall to make sure they were secured. I love them! I bought more to make a cost rack downstairs!!!!

They are flat black and follow my modern farmhouse theme. I used them to make a backpack rack for my kiddos and also a hand towel holder in my half bathroom. Even with a drill and screwdriver some of the screws were hard to reach or get to. The heads stripped out pretty easily and the paint on the screws flaked off easily too. I had to put a little black paint over the screw heads to cover up the flaking paint. Deff need to pre-drill the holes on whatever you are installing them on. Over all they are perfect and will use them on other places around the house.

I love them, my husband might not. They look amazing and hold the towels wonderfully. But they were very hard for my husband to screw in and make level because their are 4 screws to do for this small hook. Also because of the 4 screws so close it Is hard to stall them in a non stud area if the wall. Because it is hard to put the anchor in with having to do 4 of them. So looks great and i would buy them again, but i think it was smart not to show my husband what was needed till we were already invested in hanging them otherwise he wouldn't have put them up.

I love the vintage touch they add to my bathroom. I love that each person can hang a towel rather than just one on a towel bar. It’s much more functional for our family in such a small bathroom. They are very sturdy. It took a little bit of focus to install them level. But once done, they look and work great.

Love these hooks. True black color. Great farmhouse style. I screwed them into cedar boards for a hook rack and none of the screws stripped. A little hard to get the drill bit to the lower screw due to physical interference of the lower hook so I screwed those in more at an angle from the side. Overall I think this was a very reasonably priced option for making hooks and I have a couple spare for other rooms. Even came with extra screws. One had a lower hook slightly bent to the side but I gently bent it back to center. Packaged well.

I love the look of these hooks, but they could be improved. Pros: Look great Very strong and sturdy (we hang lots of coats and heavy backpacks on them) Don’t seem to scratch Cons: The screws that come with are really not good. I was using an electric screw driver. It popped the heads off the first few screws and stripped the others. I finally ended up using the electric screwdriver to get them partially in and finished by hand. They do not all look exactly the same. Some curve strongly to the left or right. I only needed a few, so I chose the straightest. They are supposed to be rustic, so just don’t expect them to all be straight. My second and last photos show how differently they’re shaped and how crooked a few of them were. In the end, the price was great, they’ve proven to be very sturdy, and I love the look of them. If the screws were a stronger metal or if the hooks were not quite as crooked, they’d get 5 stars from me. As it is, though, I expect I’ll purchase more for similar projects, so I would feel comfortable recommending them.

Exactly the style of hook I had been searching for. Only downside is the quality of hardware included. They are very soft metal and easily broke- might work for a different kind of board or wood than what we used but I had to purchase additional metal screws to attach. Otherwise, excellent product and hooks are very sturdy and stylish!

I had been looking for these hooks in home improvement stores, and couldn’t find quite what I was looking for, so amazon to the rescue! We gutted/ renovated a farmhouse built in 1900, and some hooks like this were still in the house... just old and gross. I wanted to keep the farmhouse look, and these hooks are perfect! They are strong (they hold my purse... that says something), and a great value. We had enough hooks to hang in the closet and on our shiplap wall we built in our porch, turned mudroom. The color or finish is almost satin. It’s not super glossy and it’s not matte. The screws that come with them are pretty short, so my husband used some longer ones to ensure that my mom-purse didn’t rip one out of the wall. Overall, I am satisfied with these and would definitely recommend!
