First time using one of these, wish I'd known about it years ago! The hole was a touch small for my grinder but it was simple to enlarge it. This does a great job in shrinking small high spots. Heat it, then cool it, simple as that.

I've been using heat to shrink sheet metal of all kinds for years, its a finiky process that most people that use it dont really understand, but this tool makes it easy. one thing to note is that allot of grinders have the cooling fan on the motor directed out onto the grinding disk to help cool it as well. if thats the case with your grinder use a shield to direct the airflow away from the working surface. the disc wont work if it cant build up heat because the grinders fan is cooling it.

Didn't work. Like others said, it doesn't fit onto a normal grinder because the shaft is too long (hmmm). Thus you need to hold it at an angle and it just didn't get the panel warm enough. I just went back to propane torch and wet rag to remove oil canning.

these are great- if you work with sheet metal/auto body they are a must have. lots of info out there as to how to use them, take the time and learn and these will be a great addition to the tool box

you will need to put a grinding disk behind this or at least i did for my grinder, but it works great for small areas to shrink

I watched 10 videos on how to use these, and if they work, guys rubbing the disc all over the panel… looked easy. When I received it the videos were wrong. The 11th video shows focusing the disc on the high spots to heat them, then cool rapidly… works like a dream!

works well enough, too small for me, I didn't realize how small it was when I ordered it. But thats on me

This thing works awesome for the price. It’s great for the sheet metal work I do on classic cars to correct warpage and highs and lows. I also used it to correct oil canning issues. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone that does lots of welding on old rusty junk.

Would be perfect if it was recessed past the spindle lock of any angle grinder but it’s not! So for many applications it’s completely useless! Will do edges and small pieces fine

Not very the centre dishes to shallow

Worked well. I used it to shrink a stretched dent in the middle of a model A door. Slow process but it seemsed to work very well.
