Stop drafting electricity
Just one click and my computer, printer, shredder and desk light are on or off. But best of all, I’m saving electricity, no more ghosting electricity for me. And, best of all, I’m saving money 💰 Yay 😁

Does what I need it to do
I bought this for my home theater. I hooked my receiver into the control plug and when I turn it off, it automatically turns off my secondary amp, subwoofer, and wireless transmitter.

Green Plugs Worked Immediately, Shut down when off, as advertised
I live in an old house where the two-prong plugs were replaced, but they're still not grounded. Someone said the green plugs don't work without a ground. But I've found they do work; the surge doesn't, or it isn't guaranteed. And while mine works right away, there is a little screw that can be adjusted to be more sensitive to smaller power draws or adjusted to a higher voltage. Apparently, it goes both ways; you have to turn it on enough so that it senses your computer/TV coming on (it was out of the box). But if you go too far, apparently, the green plugs don't cut off. So find the sweet spot. And always, read the instructions, folks!! On the photos, see the entire strip, all was on, and see the hard drive on top, speaker in the back, and monitor, all LED's and powered off when I shut down the computer. Let the savings begin.

Great for home audio/home theater AV. Overpriced for what it is though.
I am a big fan of the Bits Limited Smart Strip products, and this one is one of my favorites. They are great for home audio/video setups because you can turn on multiple pieces of equipment automatically simply by turning on whatever is in the main control outlet (via that item's remote or panel button). I also really like that this design is mostly black. I wish some of the other products also came in black. The only downside of this particular strip is that it doesn't have an on/off switch. But in my particular use, it's not necessary. EDIT: When I first added this to my wishlist, it was $14. It was $20 when I bought it. It's almost $26 now. Sunbeam sells a similar product for $10. I like this product better, but the price is too high Works more reliably than HDMI/CEC for power on/off, and is less hassle than 12v trigger cables, which a lot of products don't even support. TL;DR turn one thing on, and the rest come on automatically. Saves energy and is super convenient.

Adjustment screw is completely unnecessary and doesn't work!
DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. There is NO reason for the adjustment screw. The screw does not shut off the accessory outlets completely when the master goes off. Every few minutes the strip attempts to turn on, making a clicking sound. Anything plugged into those outlets also flash on then off. This could be dangerous. If you adjust the screw more, they never turn on. This adjustment screw is completely unnecessary. It simply should shut off and on with the master plug.

Works great
I had another energy saving surge protector and not all of the devices would turn on and off. The on-off threshold, User adjustable +/- sensitivity screw on this new surge protector resolved that issue. I would buy this product again.

Best workshop power strip.
This is amazing. Runs multiple devices with one controlling device. Has dedicated outlets with constant power. A very well made product and looks clean and organized.

Strip Maybe Not so Smart?
I bought two of these, one for the TV, DVR, sound bar, etc., and one for the computer, monitor, sound system, printer, etc. I installed the computer as the “controller” and the monitor as a “controlled” device. It worked fine for a while and then the monitor started turning off and on. There is a sensitivity adjustment screw on the strip for this purpose. Unfortunately, the screw is plastic and was very hard to turn. I was trying to turn it and all of a sudden the adjusting screw disappeared into the strip and I no longer had access to it. It is unclear why the company would make the screw plastic and mount it so precariously. I returned it to Amazon and am hoping this one was just a one-off and the other would work better. EDITED-- As it turned out the second one had problems also. I was actually able to turn the sensitivity adjustment screw, but could not get it to a point where the controlled outlet that the computer monitor was plugged into would go off when the computer was turned off, and would also go on when the computer was turned on. Ended up returning it also.
