| Whipped Moisturizing Cream for Normal to Dry Skin

I received this product in my ipsy bag and I love it. The hyaluronic acid in the product keeps my skin hydrated all day and it’sa great product for the winter. Works great with my combination skin.

One of my Ipsy boxes came with a Callyssee face moisturizer, and I absolutely loved it! As soon as I was almost out of it, I went onto the website and bought their bundle of face moisturizer, eye cream and face cleanser. The face moisturizer was supposed to be the exact same one as the one Ipsy had given me, except it’s definitely a different formula. Not only is it a thinner formula, but it does not feel good on my face. IT HURTS! The eye cream is even worse! When I put it on, it stings. I am immensely disappointed. They’ll only accept returns for unopened, used items, so I’m stuck with products that hurt to wear.

This product is full with very bad ingredients and chemicals that are known to cause skin problems, there are some organic ingredients in there, but who cares if the rest of that moisturizer has silicone (dimethicone) and other stuff that will not let your skin breathe? I tried this lotion because the ingredients were not fully disclosed, dumb me.After reading the ingredients I still tried it on my hands and it is just awful, very sticky and you can actually tell that dimethicone is ingredient number 7, it's just one single water- and air proof layer on the skin, the "whipped" character doesn't make it better... using fresh butter is better for your skin, of course the unsalted kind :)

This is a very lightweight moisturizer for being for dry skin, and I appreciate it. I keep mine in the fridge and it feels so nice gliding over my skin. My skin immediately drinks it up, deposits a nice amount of moisture that gets locked in by the dimethicone, which then protects it from free radicals. I know it works that way because if I apply makeup on top of it and accidentally fall asleep, when I wake in the morning and wash my face, instead of my skin being congested and irritated, it's lovely, soft, subtle and not at all wrecked from my makeup. I accidentally fall asleep in my makeup from time to time and this is one product that I don't feel bad after doing so. Try it! It's reasonably priced too!
