Impressive Quality and User-Friendly Design
I recently purchased the Ativafit Adjustable Dumbbell Set (66 lbs pair), and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed with the overall quality and functionality. The build feels solid and durable, giving me confidence in its long-term viability. One of the standout features is the weight switching mechanism—it's incredibly smooth and intuitive to use. Adjusting the weight is quick and hassle-free, and the mechanism itself feels well-engineered and reliable. Although I haven’t used the dumbbells extensively yet, I’ve experienced no issues with weights slipping or dropping, which speaks volumes about their safety and stability. The included base is sturdy and makes seating and unseating the dumbbells effortless, adding to the overall convenience. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend the Ativafit Adjustable Dumbbell Set to anyone looking for a high-quality, space-saving solution for strength training at home.

Lots of good, but also some potential bad. Please read all
I like that the product was only $400 for a set or 2 adjustable dumbells that go up to 71 lbs each. I have seen adjustable dumbells that go up to 50lbs each and they run anywhere from $300-$500. So this product was in the middle cost of adjustable dumbells and I got more weight for that price. I believe I saved about $2-400 compared to other brands with like weight.I like the ease of use. I have seen reviews on this item saying the weight fall off and fortunately I haven’t had that issue. I also seen videos of people saying make sure it is fully locked before you pick them up… (I’d certainly hope one would check this before picking the weights up) i assumed that maybe some people have issues because you may have kids that are hard on the weights.. they may put them down hard or drop them.. I can’t confirm this is the issue, but I assumed this when I bought them. This product had some bad reviews so I was skeptical, however it is easy to find bad reviews these days.. even bowflex dumbells had bad reviews.. and I even found bad reviews on the powerblocks. I just picked the less expensive bad reviews I guess. Anywho, I bought these dumbell ls thinking I am saving about $300 or so (depending on the brand of the competition) example,, power block was about $400 or so (depending on model) and you need an extension kit that cost about $180.. the price can go up depending on what you want. I like that what you see is what you get and I don’t have to fool around with adding extra kits and hoping Amazon/the seller in Amazon sends me the right extension kit.. or me ordering the wrong kit.. less worry and stress for sure… now it’s time for the bad… the weights are not a snug fit at all.. they shake and rattle.. I have tried to shake the weight off and nothing happened. It appears to be holding up but time will tell.. do i believe they will last??? Im not sure to be honest.. I hope they last but the shaky weights makes me wonder… basically this is what I think… it may be a bad product overtime but as of now I have potentially saved about $300 and I may get lucky with this lasting through the years. Even if the product is bad and fails in 6 months or a year, then at least I saved $300 and I would learn what to buy next time.. as of now I will give it a solid Green light and say go. If you have a lot of extra money then I would personally buy the neubell adjustable dumbells because it appears to be way better made, but your boy doesn’t have about 1G to spend on some weights like that. Think of it like a used car,, it’s sketchy and may break down early, but boy did you save money!!!! This part right here is an update since I have now owned these for well over a year. They work perfectly fine and no issues with the weight falling off. I use them sparingly so I can’t confirm if the weights would last using them daily. I do feel confident in these weights and I would go back in time to buy them again. The weights are better than I thought.

Does what it's supposed to.
These are very decent selectable-weight dumbbells. They do what they're supposed to do, which is to be heavy and to switch between weights fairly smoothly and very quickly. They're among the heavier sets on the market, which is one reason I chose them. Another is that they are the just about the best price per pound going right now (during the pandemic) on selectable weight dumbbells of this magnitude. They adjust from 11 lbs to 71.5 lbs each by 5.5 lbs increments, which equals 2.5 kg. They are labeled in lbs. These are a single uniform length regardless of how much weight you select, which is slightly annoying for lighter weights but not a big deal and most sets are like that (which only a couple of exceptions). They have moderately flat ends, which makes them decent for resting on your thighs when you need to...nothing poking out of the end to deter that. You have to be gentle when resting them back in the cradle or setting them down between sets, so if you're used to dropping your weights, just know you can't do that with these. And getting them back into the cradle requires finesse, not force. I line them up and jiggle them in, so to speak. It works. They cover most of the weight range needed by most amateur weight lifters for most free weight exercises, I think. If you need more than 71.5lbsX2 (assuming you buy two dumbbells, as these come in singles), you'll need to add some heavy resistance bands for your heavier sets. But 143 lbs total for 2 dumbbells cover a lot of exercises without needing bands. These appear to have exactly 1.5" diameter handles at the widest point (I don't own a caliper but I did my best eyeballing it with a measuring tape, and double checked that using the circumference and a little basic geometry), which might mean the Monkeyfeet and/or Hyperbell equipment could fit it, but I haven't tried. Just fyi in case there are other people wondering...1.5" seems to be the limit for what the Hyperbell bar/handle will fit, and I think it's the same for Monkeyfeet. These aren't as versatile as, say, IronMaster dumbbells, which is why they get 4 stars for versatility instead of 5. Nor are they as durable. IronMasters are also shorter with lower weight, which is nice, and expandable to add more weights on if you want. But these are faster to switch between weights, cheaper than IronMaster, and what's more to the point right now, they are available, which IronMasters aren't. I've been in IM's drawing system about 4x now over the course of the last year trying to get a set and finally gave up and bought these. They only get 3 stars for value, though, because of the price hike during covid. But I'd give any weights only 2-3 stars for value these days because literally everyone hiked their prices to around 2-3x the pre-pandemic price (except IM, who did raise the price but not by as much...and are still more expensive than these). If you're like me and can get to the gym occasionally to work legs but don't want to go frequently (to minimize exposure), lift moderately heavy, own a bench already, have a set of resistance bands to augment these when necessary for heavier exercises, and don't have a lot of space to store a plethora of free weights, this is a good set to get. It does the job pretty well. They do come singly, so you'll need to order two for bilateral exercises. With the coupon, which was $65 off when I bought them, it's as decent a price as you're likely to get right now. I made two separate purchases so I could use the coupon twice -- once for each dumbbell. They were shipped really well. Each dumbbell comes in one box so it will probably make your UPS guy mad, but I liked knowing everything was in one box so I could use it right away. They are packed between molded styrofoam that fits both the dumbbell and the box perfectly. Arrived in perfect condition and got here quickly for boxes that weight 70+ lbs each. I think it was 3 days. You need to always hold these weights by their handles when in use, so you can't do goblet squats or other exercises that require holding onto the plates. If you have two side by side, they have roughly a 16"L x 15-16"W footprint together. I think that about covers it.

Almost great, but fell short on reliability.
Initially I was happy and using regularly, then within a few weeks. One dumbbell started sticking a bit. They were used properly and not dropped or damaged. The adjusting knob stopped turning and the weight is now stuck. If you had asked me last week - it would’ve been given 5 stars, but to be giving issues in less than a month. That is crazy. As of right now, try another product. I’m looking to find a more reliable and sturdy product. I’m very surprised and very disappointed. Update: 2/12/21 I received the replacement weight in a timely fashion and enjoyed how it was working. The other original dumbbell is now stuck as well. Same exact problem in less than two full months of use. The customer service was nice, but the reliability is not worth it.

One of the plate fell off twice and damaged the floor. Demotivated to use and have to bring outside for workout, using with caution, not lifting above the head. Plates are not firmly attached and it creates a noise with movement.
