Guardians Of The Galaxy: Vol 3 [Blu-ray]

The action was great. The story line was outstanding. The music not so much. Why change what was working?

Great movie

As newspaper reviews mentioned, this movie shares a lot of Rocket's backstory. It is not a happy story, and if you can imagine how cute baby raccoons are, you can see where this sad story will go. But no spoilers. If you are tender-hearted like me, and you love animals like me, either have tissues handy, or just don't watch this. My adult daughter will not be watching it, so I did tell her some spoilers that I won't share here.But the ending is ultimately happy; a couple of characters find redemption, others find their true destinies, and Groot says....more. Even though my heart broke (no main character dies), and I also laughed (but not like during "Thor: Love and Thunder": that was a laugh-fest for me!), I cannot say it was a bad movie or don't watch it. Do watch it, because the ending IS happy, but just like real life, you have to got through some hard stuff to get to the good stuff.Will I watch it again? Maybe, but not for a while.

Ever since the original Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), it felt like this corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) was left to do its own thing. These movies didn’t have many cameos or connections to the larger MCU except for introducing characters who fought in the Avengers films. Perhaps because of this level of separation from the core MCU, the Guardians of the Galaxy movies have felt more stable tonally than the rest of the MCU films. You can probably thank James Gunn for that.While I consider the first Guardians movie to be one of the best superhero (or even sci-fi) films ever made, Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 (2017) diving into Peter Quill’s (Chris Pratt) origins wasn’t quite up to snuff. And while Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3 (2023) is another origin story, it felt more impactful than its predecessor. After all, the one character of the group we didn’t have any in-depth background on was Rocket (Bradley Cooper). This film remedies that in a way that’s both emotional and a fitting cap on the adventures of the original Guardians group.In the post-Endgame MCU, movies like this feel rare. Sure, there’s room for more adventures for this new group of Guardians, but wrapping up character arcs is a much more impressive feat. Letting things come to a natural end without forcing any hints of the next tie-in or cameo was refreshing. The villain also felt unique but threatening. It was also nice to get a more realistic resolution to the relationship between Peter and Gamora (Zoe Saldana)—kind of like at the end of Broadcast News (1987). Overall, the Guardians films are great by themselves, which Volume 3 epitomizes.A fitting and distinct wrap-up for the original Guardians, I give Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3 4.0 stars out of 5.

Not my favorite of the bunch but it's ok.

GREAT MOVIE

The base/main story line of this film reveilles Rockets origin story. It's a fantasy a film BUT the story is heartbreaking.SPOILER ALERT!!!!!! My question is "Did the villain actually die in the end???" Not definitive in my opinion.

The Guardians movies are always a good time. This one might be the best. You'll have a great time.The talking animals are really sad man. Real tear jerker stuff. They just wanna be free. 😢🦝🦦At the same time it's really funny. I burst out laughing when Reasons by Earth, Wind, & Fire started playing.Enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Blu ray was 15 bucks. 5/5

El final de estos personajes, una película con sentimiento, acción y aventura en ningún momento decae en la narración de la historia vale la pena verla varias veces

El final de una trilogía de Marvel profundizando con los orígenes de Rocket racoon emotiva, emocionante divertida y mucha acción aparte de dar algunas enseñanzas de la vida, está versión viene doblada y subtitulada

Me encantó la pelicula, la verdad es una de mis favoritas, lo que si no me gustó es la forma en la que utilizan la logística de envío, le asigne clave para que me la entregarán me.ha pasado se equivocan de casa y resulta que la entregaron a un residente...y no fue así ...

La tercera entrega de la saga de Guardianes de la Galaxia , que forma parte de la Fase 5 del Universo Cinematografico de Marvel, quien a su vez como las dos primeras partes , fue dirigida por James Gunn. La pelicula obtuvo una nominacion al Oscar a Efectos Visuales, como las dos anteriores. Por otra parte me llego en buen estado y dentro de la fecha de entrega. Cuenta con subtitulos y hablada al español latino. El unico malo de la pelicula, la portada parece copia, pero lo que importa es la pelicula. Asi como tambien cuenta con un codigo digital que no es valido en Mexico.
