I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in history (specializing in American history), and this book is GREAT because it’s all historical fact and very little (if any) historical or political interpretation—which is exactly what you want in curriculum. We’ve homeschooled our kids from the beginning (this is our 9th year of homeschooling) and I’m really pleased with this purchase. Our middle schooler is learning so much, and it’s great to pair with various other sources (documentaries, etc.). Highly recommend!

This little book is packed FULL of information. As a 29 year old woman, I learned more about the US Constitution from this book than I ever did in public school while teaching it to my homeschooler! Once you complete the book theres a little review or quiz in the back that touches on everything you learned throughout. My 11 year old now knows more about the Constitution than most college students & grown adults.

This is definitely an early high school workbook; it’s been difficult for my early middle schooler but we finish it together. It’s not exciting, but it is very informative. I find that it’s filling the gaps in my own public education.
