- Goatskin possesses an inherent store of lanolin, allowing it to retain oils for extended periods of time without excessive care. Soft and supple, they feel great under your bare feet - your kids and even pets would love to lie over them Goat skin is also an insulator and keeps unwanted heat away just like the hairs on our skin . Easy to clean, resilient, durable and will last a lifetime with very little care
- The photos in the listing are of the actual skin you will receive. We have just had the background of the warehouse table taken out (whitened) so the skin is more prominent and clear in the shots. Our skins have been inspected by us prior to packaging in our warehouse. As a natural product the skin may have the odd small scratch or patchwork on the underside/floor side
- What to Expect When you Receive Your Rug: Your exquisite rug is carefully folded to fit into a safe & sturdy box, some creases may be present when you lay your rug out right after unboxing. As the skin is a natural product these creases will eventually disappear . But if you need your beautiful skin to be creaseless faster our care guide that comes with the goatskin will detail how you can speed this process up, or feel free to contact us through Amazon
Our family has been trading in leather and hides from Spain, France and South America for over 40 years. We source our high quality hides from reputable tanneries. This means the product you receive will be of the highest quality. Each cowhide is unique and stands out with its own individual character. Naturally durable and great at repelling stains, cow hides are ideal floor coverings and wall hanging that give a distinctive luxurious look and feel to any living space. Cowhides are resilient and require little maintenance - with proper care, you can expect your cowhide to last for generations. Light vacuuming or a sturdy shake outside once in a while would easily get your cowhide clean as well. We do not recommend rotating machine attachments to be used on your cowhide. If your cowhide is located in a high use area - simply shift its location from time to time - this would help your cowhide to breathe and wear evenly. Cowhides repel dirt naturally - and any spills could easily be wiped out! We do advise you to address spills immediately as a dried up spill might require more effort to get out. Stains can be spot-cleaned with a simple damp (not too wet) soapy cloth in the direction of the hair. Simply dry with a towel, and you're good to go! We do not recommend use of any leather creams, polishes or saddle soap. Because our cowhides are natural, they will retain their beautiful shine for years to come. Please do not clean your cowhide in the washing machine or dry it on the radiator! To find the perfect hide, we highly recommend measuring the area where you envision your cowhide to be located. We are certain you will find the ideal product you like at the exact size that you need!
