Handy dressing tool
This is so helpful for dressing or removing items. Especially for removing socks. Now I have two sticks, one in living room, one in bathroom. Very sturdy, simple quality

Most valuable tool in my arsenal!
I had hip replacement surgery in April. I had scheduled it in January so had plenty of time to prepare. My doctor told me to pay attention to the tasks I do that require me to bend 90 degrees or more and find alternative ways to do them. So I went on Amazon and found several helpful tools. I even started using them before surgery as my hip was deteriorating fast. I had skipped over this tool at first because I had already bought a sock removal tool. Well, that sock removal tool caused me to bend over 90 degrees so I bought this one just before surgery. I have to say, I use this tool the most of any of them!I use it not only to take my socks off, but to adjust them once they are on too. I use them to take my shoes off because I am not supposed to cross my feet because that puts strain on my new hip. I use it to push and pull my walker and hospital table away from and beside my bed. I use it to pull covers over me in bed and push them off my feet when I get out. I just recently was able to get my hip-high TED hose on by myself because of this tool! I wasn't able to do it with just my sock tool. This tool is so very versatile. I use it all the time. It's also very durable. I've put it in some tough situations and it hasn't bent or cracked. I highly recommend this tool if you are having any kind of surgery that involves a limb. It is a must have!Update: I am now using this tool in my kitchen to open and close bottom drawers and my dishwasher. My reach tool isn't strong enough for these tasks. I ordered another one to have handy in the kitchen. I use it to tip my Amazon packages on end when they are dropped off on my porch. This allows me to pick them up without bending too far. I seem to find more and more uses for this every day!

Nourislif 27'' Dressing Stick is well made, on a sturdy, thick, almost 3/4" diameter stick
I have an old, one piece dressing stick that I use for pulling things to me. It held up through my husband's dressing and other needs after surgeries plus my need to pull items closer. I was nervous when this one arrived in 2 pieces but the screw "system" is very well done and is larger due to the big diameter of the stick (almost 3/4'). I can not imagine that this will break through normal use. The zipper pull "circle" on the other end is also larger and thicker than our long lasting older one. Best of all, the bent end for dressing is also VERY sturdy, thicker metal and stable (not flexible or bendable/breakable at all). It's covered with smooth material that does not smell bad. The manufacturer put in quality hardware. I will not use this for dressing that I know of, but I am very impressed with how solid and secure this is! Good price.I highly recommend this great NOURISLIF dressing stick. I'd order it again for a friend, if needed.

Worth the money
Works well however could be more durable if made of metal but then most likely would cost more. Will see how long it lasts!!

Not strong enough hook for compression stockings
I just bought this about a week ago to mainly help me remove my compression stockings. If you have to wear these, you know how hard it is to get these things on and off because they are so tight. The hook bent down while trying to remove the stockings and puts it at a wrong angle to remove them. This needs to be a very strong, non-bendable hook or the thing is useless. Maybe it's the weakness of the screw holding on to the hook but all I know is that it bent. Before I bought this I was wondering if the two parts screwed together were enough to be strong. Turns out, this is not the problem with this item. It is the bendable hook. It would have been fine to just remove socks or pants but compression stockings are another story. I would not recommend this particular item if you need to remove compressions stockings.

Sturdy
Seems okay; haven't had much chance to use it, but I think it will help. Just one small critisism, the woman picturered us obviously not diabled since she is holding the dressing stick in her left hand, so it must be the unaffected side, therefore the right arm is the affected side, which you would put the garment on first. Just à small annoyance, that initialy made me suspicious that the manufacturer might not really understand how a dressing stick is used. But it seems sturdy and can be taken apart for travel, it unscrews in the middle.
