PK Heavy Duty 100 lb. Broadcast Spreader

I bought this in Nov. 2014. I was very disappointed !When it was loaded it was very hard to push ! The slide gate for the material jammed open and wouldn't close. I thought I got it working again and the slide gate broke off ! Cheap material ! It is not made to even handle 80 lbs.

It handles two bags of ice melt with no problems. Ease of use and required very little assembly too. Great addition to our snow removal process!

More of a salt spreader than fertilizer. Have to guess what the approximate setting is. Nothing in the manual about application rates. A couple of parts were mismanufactured, still trying to see if the manufacturer is going to send a replacement part.It is heavy duty, and very stable. Zerk fittings on the axles.Cleaning is a pain, they want you to take the housing around the gears off each time you use it and clean them. Had an Earthway before, probably would get one of those again next time.

Replaced a Earthway with the PK Heavy duty. The earthway has a better system for limiting broadcast width and does not fall off of the earthway. The PK easier to push and is more stable. Have used for spreading salt this winter and no problems. Overall a good tool.

Absolutely horrible. Salt just bridges and the shield cracked and broke within the first 3 minutes of use. Not worth it.

It does does everything itis extremely we'll made should outlast the last ten spreaders I bought cheap in the long run
