Stunning!
These colors are absolutely gorgeous. Great quality. My pieces look stunning. I was more inclined to use oxides but not anymore. I had to research the names of the colors, but wow what a beautiful surprise! Photos do not do the colors justice.

Vibrant Colors and Professional Finishes in a Versatile Set of 12
I recently purchased the Mayco Element Glazes, 4 Ounces, Cone 05 to 06, Assorted Colors, Set of 12, and they have truly elevated my pottery projects! This set offers an impressive variety of colors, each one vibrant and rich, giving my pieces a stunning, professional finish. The glazes are easy to apply, whether brushing, dipping, or sponging, and they dry smoothly without any issues. The consistency is just right, providing even coverage without being too thick or runny. I love how the colors blend and layer beautifully, allowing for endless creative possibilities. Firing these glazes at Cone 05 to 06 has been a breeze. The colors stay true to their pre-fired appearance, and the final result is a gorgeous, glossy surface that adds depth and character to my ceramics. They also work wonderfully on a variety of clay bodies, making them incredibly versatile. The 4-ounce jars are perfect for small to medium-sized projects, and the set of 12 gives me a wide palette to experiment with. The quality and range of these glazes have exceeded my expectations, and they've quickly become a staple in my studio. Overall, the Mayco Element Glazes set is a fantastic investment for any ceramic artist, from beginners to professionals. The vibrant colors, ease of use, and reliable results make this set a must-have for anyone looking to enhance their work with beautiful, high-quality glazes. Highly recommended!

Mayco Elements Glaze
These glazes did not disappoint. I have used them on projects and they fire out beautifully. I fire to cone 05, just FYI. I like how the glaze settles into the design and gives light and dark areas on my ceramic projects.

My new favorite glazes!
I’m new to ceramics and these are the third glazes that I’ve used so far. They are now my new favorites and work great for the owl art I’ve been making recently. Absolutely love them and they layer nicely together creating other colors!

Don’t expect as vibrant colors as presented.
I fired chips of all the colors and overall was disappointed with results. I did each chip 2, 3 and 4 coats. 4 were matte colors with no gloss after a great deal of shaking each jar. A few colors were a near match to photos out of 12. Will still use on projects and will see the final results. They definitely aren’t glaze colors as presented.

A lot texture for Magic to happen
You need to have a lot of texture for the elements to work their magic. Otherwise, it will remain one color, and it will be mostly brown, which is the predominant color on top. These were painted over white clay and fired at cone 05.

Ruined my pieces
The return window just closed by a day. I did not see the results of this glaze since I have my ceramics class only once a week and just got my pieces back. I brought these glazes specifically for some special gift pieces I was making. The instructor fired to Cone 05 and the results on my pieces were terrible as you can see. Other classmate's pieces all came out. Instructor asked to read the label on my glaze bottle, thinking I brought for the wrong Cone firing, but she said, no, it's bad glaze. The rest of the class member's pieces using mostly Duncan glazes all fired and came out well. We use the same clay and I was the only one that used this Mayco Elements glaze. Worst than the wasted money for these glazes, it the pieces I lost that were presents I was to give next week : (

Good! But not the colours shown
These work great, the issue is the colours aren’t what are shown in the photo. They are mayco colours just not the same as what’s shown.

So disappointing
Not at all as shown. Totally different glazes when fired.

Great starter kit glazes
Home glazing for the first time and opted for this starter kit of glazes. They absolutely worked as the descriptions/instructions said and I am really pleased with the results. Plenty left and will use them all up. I didn't opt to use the blacks or clear and loved the blues. I layered a couple of glazes, and will carry on experimenting.
