Update: The monitor ended up having an issue after just over a year. The panel started getting strips of dots/colors in the bottom corner. UPerfect was very prompt and offered a replacement. Original review: * Plastic body is solid and reasonably light weight compared to similarly sized monitors with a metal shell. * The matte screen is great if you need it in a room with bright lights or outside. * The 1440p@144Hz is great for gaming whether it be a secondary screen for a gaming laptop or a modern console. * The VESA mounts are a very welcome addition. I've used portable monitors for years on my main desktop and needing to rig those without mounts is a serious pain. * Comes with all the proper cables and power brick. * While not generally recommended the monitor looks decent if running in non-native 1920x1080 mode. This can useful in certain situations where 1440p isn't supported.. It's slightly blurry but looks alright. Handles the non-native resolution much better than other monitors I've used. If you increase the sharpness the blurriness disappears. * Unable to test HDR due to lack of support in Linux but responds similar to other monitors when put into HDR mode. * Don't have proper tooling to test the color reproducibility or brightness but looks good for casual usage. When I held the monitor, I was having some doubt at first. After some several uses, I am genuinely surprised that this monitor can deliver all of the features that it was listed and still weight less than a tablet! There is no need to update or make any adjustments upon start up, just plug and play! The monitor can easily be used with just one USB-C cable. However, if you plan on running this with higher settings (Brightness, OD, FPS), you will need to use the charger that came included. Otherwise it will turn off and your changes will be reset. This has been my go-to monitor whenever I want to do lightwork away from my room, future traveling, or just game on a bigger screen. Pros: -Setup is easy. Just plug in and that's it -Unbelievably light and easy to use. -Text and pictures look very sharp when outputting it in 2K. -Matte screen is excellent -Colors are good (You will have to adjust the color settings if you want it to look phenomenal) -Cover stand looks simple and easy to use -Refresh rate is buttery smooth Cons: -The speakers are okay. They're fine when using it for short use. If you plan on using it longer, consider an external speaker or headphones. -The cover stand is very sensitive on soft or uneven materials. Consider using the VESA mount or mobile stand. Despite the flaws, it is still a great portable monitor and something that I would recommend if you plan on traveling, moving from place to place, or in a small workspace. Customer service is helpful as well. They have provided solutions to me whenever I had problems. Please do not hesitate to contact them if you need help. This is my first monitor. No doubt I'll be sure to look more into their products in the near future.

Fantastic image, resolution, and form factor. Worked well for about 6 months of moderate use during travel. Setting the refresh to 144Hz started to cause syncing problems, resulting in a black screen. Lowering the refresh to 120Hz or 60Hz fixed the issue for a couple of months, then I ended up with no image once again. Currently I cannot maintain native resolution at 60Hz without the screen going dark. The interval of how long the monitor would actually work continued to drop the more I used it, so I've pretty much stopped using it after a year.

I was looking for a decent portable monitor to connect my assorted gaming consoles to so that I could game on the couch while my wife watches TV. I did some research and I found the UPERFECT Portable Monitor 2K 144Hz. It had good reviews and the price was acceptable. I bought it back on October 6th, 2023. I hooked my PS3 and Xbox 360 up to it and played some forgotten gems. I bought a little off-brand dock for my Steam Deck and played a lot of Skyrim on it. Played some Destiny 2 using my laptop with no issues. It was great! The only thing that I was disappointed in was the lack of VESA mounting. About a month after I got the monitor, it just stopped working. The monitor would turn on but, it would only display the "No Signal" message and power save itself off. This was right before Thanksgiving and Christmas and life got busy. I finally got around to contacting UPERFECT customer service about two weeks ago. They were extremely helpful during this whole process. We walked through troubleshooting steps. I sent them a video showing exactly what was going on and then we tried a few more things. We were unable to get the monitor working again and I shipped it back to them. As soon as I sent them the tracking number for the old monitor, UPERFECT sent me a new and updated version of the monitor! The new monitor even has a VESA mount on the back of it! I love it! It's even better than the first one! This is the first review that I have ever written on Amazon because I usually can't be bothered to take the extra steps. The company got my money, that's good enough. Not this time! I didn't know what to expect with UPERFECT customer service since it had been a few months since I made the original purchase. They blew me away with their prompt responses and the end result. Every interaction was a pleasure and I got the sense that they cared about the experience from my point of view. Enough rambling, here's my review of the monitor: Design and Build Quality: Nice modern, minimalist design. Thin bezels surround the vibrant IPS panel maximizing the screen-to-body ratio. The monitor itself is lightweight, weighing in at 2.3 pounds, making it incredibly easy to carry around in a backpack or laptop bag. The monitor comes with a smart cover that covers the entire front and back of the monitor while closed. The smart cover also doubles as a stand. The monitor also has built-in speakers that will do in a pinch. The speakers are slightly better than my Gigabyte monitor built-in speakers on my desktop gaming computer. It is the perfect sweet spot for my gaming needs. I love the smoothness and clarity of motion on the monitor. I'm no display expert by any means but, the colors are vibrant and appear to be accurate. I pair this with my gaming laptop. The quality is better than the screen on the computer. It has HDR and supports gsync, which is nice. It also works terrific for my busy work days when I need multiple screens. The only reason I gave it 4 stars overall is that the color and brightness aren't the best right out of the box, but with some tuning, all of it can be fixed.

The 2K 144Hz 16.1" Portable Gaming Monitor is perfect for anyone on the go and even those who just need a 2nd screen for their laptop or a screen for their gaming device (Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, etc.). I use this for multiple applications. When I am on the go for work or travel I can put this in my backpack and it's so light you don't even realize it's there. When using it for gaming it makes it a great edition for when you are using a Nintendo Switch where the screen can be small, but also when you are doing multiplayer games. You will only get 1080p resolution on the switch (due to the console's limitation). You may want to adjust some of the colors and settings to meet your needs, but out of the box the default settings will get you going and look good. Pros: * It comes with everything you need to get you going. - 2 x USB C to USB C Cables - 1 x HDMI to Mini HDMI Cable - 20 Watt [HNT-PD2001] Power Adapter * It's very lightweight * The picture quality is good with no streaking or dead pixels found. * The sound quality isn't bad considering the size and it does have a speaker on both sides of the monitor. * The built in stand is convenient for those times when you just need to setup and get working/playing. * Having multiple USB-C connections is handy as 1 of them is used for the power unless you have a laptop that can provide PD power at which point you can use 1 cable to provide both power and display minimizing cable clutter. * XBox One X games had no issues at the 2K regardless of being a slow playing game or a fast action game. Cons: * Cables are short. I think they would be perfect if they were twice the length. * No option to be able to switch inputs or access the menu to set the default input unless you physically have a device connected and power on.

Like the tittle, this monitor works very good and color is accurate as advertised. But when I switch from my iPad mini using Type C to SFFPC using mini HDMI, if I don’t switch to HDMI source before unplug my iPad mini, there is no way I can using OSD menu to switch to HDMI source. When ‘No Source’ blue screen pop up, even I tried to use menu button to open OSD menu or power button to quick switch to other sources, nothing happen and the monitor will go to power saving mode. That’s the only issue I can complain about this monitor but it’s huge enough to make me out of comfort zone to continue using this monitor. I bought 2 to setup dual screen for my SFFPC but I have to return them and continue using my MSI MP Pro. It will worth for you if you use Type C almost the time.
