I don't usually leave reviews, but with the price of this product I felt I needed to. The product itself will protect your phone perfectly. That was the only positive thing about this case. Lets start with the built in screen protector. Scratches easily but that is not the worst part. Don't plan on using the phone if it is really cold out because the screen protector swells up and makes the touch screen imposable to use. I wanted a phone with a battery backup. Well I would not trust this battery at all. If you charge your phone with the case on make sure it is charging because sometime the port works and sometimes it didn't. Second when it is done charging and you unplug it you better check the battery because it is always still saying it is charging the phone. So after unplugging it you have to hit the battery button to turn it off and if you don't the phone gets really hot. Lets talk about the solar panels. Great idea, slow charging which is fine. But 3 panels on the phone definitely were broken. You can see the damage to them in certain lights and angles. Which mean slower charging time. It is brand new and they should not be Broken. This is the second case amazon has sent me and both had these problem. I was hopping the first case was just a fluke. The first one I received also had something loose inside. So when you shook the case you can hear the rattling inside. I will be returning this case also. For $120.00 for a case I expect a lot better quality from it. I was very disappointed. This could have been a perfect case but failed at it.

This case is absolutely amazing. I have been using it for over a year and have never had any problems. I can charge my phone fully twice with this case on, which lasts me all day and then some (I use my phone a lot throughout the day). Not to mention more with the solar panel. Also, this case protects so well. I have dropped my phone numerous times and I have never had anything happen to my phone, not a scratch!I use it all the time Kayaking in the springs in Northern Florida. I just snap my phone in close and ready to take great pics and use my navigation without a worry for power drain.Only thing that I need to make sure is to speak into the microphone, sometimes people will say they hear me perfect sometimes it sounds a little distant. Luckily I can hear them all the time.Besides that, this case is definitely the best I have ever had.

Update: AVOID THIS CASE! I hate to say that because I really liked this case, but the longevity of this product is so poor even under mild use that I can not recommend it. this case, for the price and advertised ruggedness, should have lasted me the life of the phone (2.5 years), instead, it lasted less than 6 months. first, the charging system broke so my phone would no longer charge while in the case, then the seal went, and finally one of the locking arms broke off. I tried to find out my case could be fixed but apparently, the company went belly up as soon as I bought my case so they were completely gone by the time my case broke.This case is exactly what I was hoping for. it is a lot bigger than the phone and adds a significant amount of weight but if you are looking for extra battery life AND protection. this case is the only way to go. I am hard on my phone so I wanted a case that can protect it, but I am also on my phone all day and wanted a battery extending case. this case fulfils both of my criteria and I think it looks good and performs well. I do get a lot of stares tho when I am using it and even more questions. In day to day use the solar panels are more of a novelty that are cool to tell people about. on a full charge (case + phone) I have been able to go 2 full days of pretty heavy use and I have yet to fully empty the case. I have started to charge my phone every other day just out of habit. now the only real problem I have with this case is the position of the lanyard hoop. it is positioned on the bottom of the case and it sticks into your right hand when holding the phone. this is probably the worst possible place to put this as it makes holding the case totally uncomfortable. I was, however, able to solve this problem with some grips by grabbing it and bending it toward the back of the case. it snapped off quickly and left a mostly smooth edge on the case.
