Keep your powder dry ...
... Or in my case, my stored handguns and ammunition. The ammo is stored in cans/boxes that seal very well, but I live where it gets very humid in summer and opening the containers allows humid air to enter. Dessicant packets absorb the moisture, which extends the life of the cartridges' powder and primers. I don't use steel-cased ammunition, but the dessicants would prevent rust as well.I use these packets in my gun safe and range bag too. Even polymer-framed handguns have plenty of steel parts; while I keep my guns cleaned and oiled, the dessicant packs add peace of mind. It's a shame I can't just drop a few in my pockets and keep *myself* dry in summer! :)

Who knew you could buy these?? I didn’t!
I have two thermoses at work. One for coffee and one for flavored ice water. Both thermoses are 30oz and never get fully dry before I store them in their sides with some paper towel sticking out of them inside of my counter drawer. I usually keep the lids off when they are in the drawer to prevent bacteria growth. I love these because I can just wash the thermos try it as best I can then stick one of these in there to dry up an moisture. My thermoses actually came with these kinds of little packs inside of them but I didn’t think to start saving them until after the fact so I am thrilled that they have these available to buy out right! These are great to put in your shoe box or tote when storing clothes and blankets. I absolutely recommend getting some of these! There’s a reason they are included with a lot of packaging when you order stuff. Excellent packets, great price too!

Good for repacking 3D printer filament
When I have a partially used roll of filament, I vacuum pack it into a ziplock and add one of these desiccant packs. They are a little on the small side, but they do the job well.

Very Expensive and I Don't Think They Are Reachargeable
You pay more for rechargeable desiccants, but while you certainly ARE paying more for this brand, you are not getting rechargeable packets. At least I don't think so and the packaging says nothing about this. They look and act the same as the other-brand non-rechargeable packets I bought a few years ago. Meaning they are priced 5x too much. The description says, "Non-indicating white" which means you can't tell whether it is used up or not. And there are no instructions as to how you would recharge them - presumably in the microwave for ... how long? Rechargeable packets usually have an indicator (red means it needs recharging, blue means OK). This is a terrible and expensive product.
