It certainly works but does not display + / - reading for athletic events. One has to guess after obtaining the reading in m/s.

Good manufacturer with excellent customer service. Device a bit cheapo
Broke within a month. Maker replaced broken part with no problems. New parts working well now. Cheap plastic and too big.
