Hallelujah Handel: Classical Kids

We played Classical Kids stories for all three of my boys when they were little. I just bought this one and found out that the female adult character, Katarina, from this story was also the child from Vivaldi's Ring of Mystery. What a great continuation of the plot! I look forward to listening to all of my new CDs to see if there are any other connections! I am convinced that my middle son started playing the viola when he was in 4th grade because of listening to this music growing up!

We love all the Classical Kids CDs, and this one is no different. As we also have listened to Vivaldi one the children were excited to see a reprisal of Katarina and enjoyed noting songs they recalled from Handel's Messiah which we listen to every Christmas. This is one we are happy to have in our collection.

My adult daughter was very happy to receive a cd she loved as a little girl. She and her sisters are in their mid twenties and are big classical music fans today. These are excellent quality and fun to listen to. As an adult I enjoyed them as much as my girls did.

Our 3 1/2 year old loves listening to these stories of classical composers while riding in the car. They are very well made.

This has not been our favorite because there is so much opera singing, but it's still a good one.

I bought these very entertaining and beautiful CDs for my kids when they were little (well, I bought them on cassette back then...) Now, I'm buying them for my grandkids, who also love them. They are wonderful, for the kiddos and the adults to listen to. So glad that they are still out there!

Good to listen to, but then voice acting changes halfway thru so you lose track of who Handel is - I thought it was Vivaldi again. Otherwise very cute and nicely done.

My older children really enjoy "Hallelujah Handel." It's subject matter is a bit mature for my little children as it involves a boy who, as a result of abuse from his "handler," can express himself only through music. The music is moving and the boy, Thomas, is tenderly cared for afer being rescued. We rated this CD four stars as it isn't quite as wonderful as "Mr. Bach Comes to Call."

We have bought this series and this particular disc for our other grandchildren and several "by friendship" grandchildren too. The children love them, inspite of all their technological gadgets.However:The purchase and delivery to UK from Canada before Christmas turned out to be an utter failure, but fortunately the good tracking by Amazon and seller has all the credits restored. There were additional tariff and duties and double the time to get there, expedited. We are picking them up here in Canada and shipping direct, which was a clear undertaking by Amazon/seller. So make sure they can deliver the product for the agreed price and shipping. Have had not a problem domestically or other products sent to UK from Amazon other countries than Canada.

Wonderful way to have children listen to classical music. Especially,...in the car!!!

We have heard it more than 100 times and it's still great.Vivid, emotional and well-edited.

Great Series ... a gift for another generation of the family ... my kids loved this series as they were growing up ... so glad we can share them with another generation!
