ADJ Products MYDMX AMIGO Stage Lighting Controller

This dongle only works with the ADJ mydmx1 software that is free to download from adj.com. This is a surprising little controller. the software is easy to figure out and is loaded with features. It also only works if you have a USB 2.0 port. my laptop has 2.0 & 3.0 ports and this doesn't work on the USB 3.0 port. Programed a full show & had my son run it. Now I'm programming it to be a stand alone controller that I can run from the stage without having my laptop at the show. For the money it's more than adequate, it's awesome.. I'm using it with 6 Chinese LED pars from amazon (cheap lights) and a Chauvet Kinta FX. It's a small light show but I'm a solo performer so it's plenty but you could add tons more lights to it. Definitely recommend.

Looked great in the YT vids but when you get yours you will quickly realize it has NO type of triggering not even sound active. Most if not all cheap $49. DMX512 controllers have that basic function. And every time I turn on my rig I have to fiddle around to get it to work and everything comes up in a different way than the last time. The FX are pretty cool but don't run smooth. I was very disappointed and sent mine back. Oh yeah I even used this dongle with MyDMX 2.0 and 3.0 (30 day trial) and I was still let down. Sorry ADJ but this is NOT for me. I'll just keep using my little cheap DMX512 controller

The firmware is obsolete, and the Hardware Manager from DMX Soft doesn't do anything... The Hardware manager is hidden within myDMX 2.1 Support at DMXSoft is useless. Once you navigate through their very badly designed webstore and to find a download link hidden in the FAQ ???? the website fail to synchronize with the device. Doesn't work out of the box and I'm sending it back!
