Update: Returning.... Ok if you don't care that the remote malfunctions
***Updating my review: I'll be returning these lights. When operating on battery power, it lasts only a few hours, even on DIM. In addition, where the prongs are plugged in, it gets burning hot go the touch, and the connection is very loose. Perhaps this one is just a defective unit, but doubt I'll try this type of lighting again unless it's USB driven to an actual power source (which doesn't match the battery operated description, nor what I needed it for.)***Lights seem ok. However, like one other person mentioned, the buttons on the remote do not all work...most particularly the "white" and "warm white" (yellow) colors I needed. They only worked correctly for less than 4 hours, then the lights just flipped to dim red for no reason. If I put the lights on a flashing mode, the white spectrum appears, so I know they work - just not with the remote. (And I tried two sets of brand new batteries, just in case.)

Really pretty lights!
This led strip is really cool! You can remotely change it to any color you want, or have it flash or fade between colors. There are DIY buttons on the remote to supposedly make your own patterns, but the instructions being pretty barebones doesn't say how to use them, and I haven't figured it out. Keep in mind that all the leds have to be the same color at once.The strip does not come included with batteries, but it can also be powered by a usb ac wall plug if you don't want to have to keep replacing the batteries. It even has a 4-pin connector if you want to put it into a motherboard, but I have not tested that out.The stip has tape on the back so you can mount it whever you want without too much trouble, and looks really cool when lighting up a dark room. Overall great product!

This strip light sucks. You would think is convenient since it has a battery box to plce above the mitchen cabinets. However If the box’s switch is on but the lights are off with the control remote it still drains the batteries and there for it will only last a day. Is such a pain having to get up there to turn the switch on and off to save batteries

Colors are good if u just want a solid basic color that ...
Literally all DIY buttons don't work also the arrow buttons and you cannot flash any color other than white. And if you cut it asIt says it can be cut you obviously cannot use it because it doesn't have another port only 2 on both ends with one battery. Colors are good if u just want a solid basic color that doesn't do anything. ONLY WHITE FLASHES
