nice and simple way to learn with the audio saying the words slowly. it was however difficult to figure out how to access the free PDF course books as this is not clearly written on any of the packaging, phrasebook or when the CD is inserted into the computer. Eventually I had to Google teach yourself which is where you can download the course book because of course the website is also not displayed anywhere on the packaging so this was slightly confusing but it is a nice way to learn a new language.

could do with russian spelling and how pronounced
Before I even listen to the 2 cds in the box, the phrase book doesn't have the phrases words written in Russian alphabet, just how they are pronounced. I'd have expected both for it to be any good

Well worth it.
The readers in the audible recording are lively and engaging, and the accompanying workbook is good. The only thing that lets it down is that the workbook gives only the anglicised spellings, and not Cyrillic script - there was no reason not to include the two, one for people who just want to speak, and others for people who want to speak and get used to the script at the same time. That said, the title of the book is “Keep Talking Russian” not “Keep Reading Russian” so it fulfils its purpose.

A poor attempt at a Russian course.
This is a very poor quality Russian course. First of all, the booklet that comes with it doesn't even use Cyrillic script. How can you not use Cyrillic script when learning Russian? Secondly, you are often asked to listen for or repeat a word or phrase in Russian, then the narrator says the answer you are listening for in English. So for example, you will be asked to repeat как дела? in Russian, but the narrator will say "Did you say how are you?" It's quite annoying, anf I often find distracting me from learning Russian rather than heliping me learn. Spend your money on a different course.
