put them in a sapphire r9 290 tri-x oc
update after using for a bit: they are def worse than the originals, louder for worse air pressure on the block.inserting wires was annoying but that is to be expected with generic lengths.

Good fans to replace some broken ones with
Got these as a replacement for my Sapphire R9 290X's fans, of which two had broken. The fans themselves are good, and quieter than the stock fans at higher RPMs, but not nearly as quiet as my case fans -- it's still the loudest component in my rig.One minor gripe I had during installation was that the cable is far too long, and there's not much space in the 290X's housing to hold them, so I ended up having them leaking out of the case. Otherwise, these fans are pretty good once installed, if a little expensive, but that's the price to pay for guaranteeing compatibility.

Perfect fit
One of my fans was wobbly and the other one had completely tanked. These fans were a direct fit and work perfectly there is NO decal which I suspect caused an imbalance in the original fans. It also comes with the paste you will need to re-seat your Video card processor.Make sure you have a tiny fillips head screw driver and lots of patience. I actually used a hand held battery operated screw driver VERY carefully which saved me a ton of time. Temps are now under control and I'm getting better overclock results than with the OEM fans. Mind you that I replaced the MB as well so that may be anecdotal.

Does not fit EVGA GTX 1060 single fan models.
Does not fit 03G-P4-6160-KR, EVGA GTX 1060 3gb single fan model. The screw holes are too close together. I used 3 small squares of 3M super strength molding tape under the screw holes to adhere the fan to the heatsink. The fan does work and keep the card cool though.

Great Buy!
Great replacement for the cooling fans on my Sapphire Radeon Tri-X graphics card. The included wiring is a little long for that application, but can be routed out of the way, so it works fine.

They’re decent but loud.
The run like 5 degrees higher on idle. They’re also very loud even when on idle. I didn’t hear my old fans besides the wobbling on one. For these there super loud.Edit: They run at a constant rpm of 1500. They’re super loud. I wouldn’t buy these if you don’t need to.

Faulty?
Pros: They're higher quality looking than the 85mm fans on my R9 290 Tri-X, so while it does take a little while to organize the cable since its a different design that the stock one, its easy to keep the whole thing concealed.Cons: Immediately after installing there was a loud grinding/rattling sound coming from the middle fan any time I exceeded 35% fan power. There's nothing obstructing it, so I can only conclude it's a bad bearing and hopefully that I just got a faulty set.
