Bloch 210 Proflex Canvas Ballet Shoes

Received promptly and in good condition. I purposely ordered these two sizes larger than my usual shoe size because they just are too tight fitting around the toes, and uncomfortable. The larger size is definitely more roomy in that area and therefore comfortable, and with the drawstring pulled tight there isn't any gaping around the heel / Achilles' tendon or sides of my feet (which is what feared). So my shoes size is 36-36.5 and these are a bloch 4.5C! I really think Bloch should make these in a D width for the toe area so we don't have to try and figure out how to upsize ;-) also, the price is high given these really don't hold up well - I go through several pairs in a year because the canvas rips so easily.

They are (as expected from bloch) lovely quality ballet shoes. I have already purchased them 1.5 sizes bigger than I would normally wear, however they are still too small and I had to repurchase them 2 sizes bigger. If you consider getting these as your first ballet shoes (or first ballet shoes by bloch) then I would recommend seeking professional advice in a dance wear store. It might be a bit more expensive than ordering them online, however you are more likely to avoid disappointment.

Beautiful shoes and so comfortable!Note for none dancers or those who don't know their ballet shoe size, buy bigger. One to one and a half sizes bigger.I'm a size 39 and my shoe from here is a 7c (or a 40.5)

One of the best ballet shoes I have tried.The straps and divided back of the shoe give you a very good sense of how your arch should be placed in contact with the floor.The ball of the foot feels really comfortable.It has a beautiful line,and enhances the look of your point!!Even on me, that I have a very wide feet, it makes it look very elegant.Just BE AWARE.I' RUNS SMALL.I am usually a road shoe size 4.5-5 and when I ordered a 5 for this ballet shoe, my toes were really compressed and uncomfortable.Although the shoe gets a little stretched with time, I would suggest maybe to order half size up.Otherwise, its a super ballet shoe!!

Bought 1.5 size larger than my shoe size per the reviews and that was the right size for a good fit. The pictures don’t show this clearly at all but the curve of the fabric on the front of the shoe (ie over your toes) lines up with the back of the leather pad on the sole - so there is a lot of pink material over your foot, and it is more coverage than with other ballet shoes I have had. Combined with the split sole it makes for a very good pointe, but I think it is less attractive overall than other shoes. How the pictures online look is more what I had expected (a couple of cm less fabric on shoe) than what I got. The elastic is pre sewn in the right place, which is great, but if you have a high instep then it may be too tight.

Ordered a full whole size larger and still a bit small..order 1.5 sizes larger than you need. Should be ok after stretching them a little with use. Great ballet shoes with really good arch support..I would suggest ordering a wider fit as these are very narrow.

Lovely ballet shoes for training classes. After reading the reviews i ordered a size 4.5C, half a size larger than i normally wear. I think i still should have opted for a full size larger as it is still a bit snug. I am just hoping they expand a little after a few uses.

These are very small, after sending back the first pair I ended up buying one 2 sizes bigger than I normally wear. They look ok but after a while they ended up rubbing in one area so I bought a different pair from a different brand.
