These feel well built, as if cast in solid plastic, and seem to do the job well for what I needed. I needed to extend a run of cable to hard wire my TV, and now it works great without any buffering whatsoever. I got a great price for eight of them, so I have seven spares now as these come in handy once in a while.For those of you lucky enough to be running fine hardware at 10 Gbps over Cat 8 wire, possibly in a scientific institution or data center...I'm afraid I can't help you on how well these work for that. I'm running my stuff at gigabit over some of the cheapest Cat5e wire you can buy at Home Depot, and it is pure bliss for my home network. I'm not going to pay more for fancy network cables with shiny ends for my application because I think it gives zero tangible benefit in a home network.

When you find that to rearrange your furniture, but you don't want to buy another cable. That is the time to consider an In-Line Coupler. These are the answer to the dilemma of how to extend the existing cable one or two feet. These couplers are the answer. They are well constructed and have a long life span and with this device, you are able to do what you need to get that extra length that you need. These are a good buy and well made.

When all you need is to connect multiple cables together to make a longer cord, this works beautifully. And they are quite durable. I have had others thru the years no where near as nice as these. I don't foresee any issues with these high quality connectors.

The couplers are working great and doing what they're meant to do. I have two 20ft cat6 cables that needed extending and instead of buying two more cables I bought these and joined two 5ft cat6 cables at their ends. No loss in speed, no interference, no differences in any way so far. I will update if this changes.

So far so good. These work great in a pinch, although it's normally better to use the proper length cable whenever possible.

the quality of this coupler shouldn't be compared to those cheap plastic couplers. This steps up the quality of your connection when faced with no other options.
