So far so good! It fits quite a few things, all paper related, a notebook, checkbook, extra check sleeve, stacks of important policy papers. All fit nice and neat. I cannot attest to waterproofing or fire, but the case seems very sturdy, and the material would certainly resist water. Zippered at top then velcroed fold over. The Velcro would be the only thing I'd personally be concerned about because I will be opening and closing this case a lot so if sturdiness becomes an issue I WILL update my review. Overall the case and my impressions of it has given me confidence that it will do the job.

I was emailed 2 times to rate this item. So I will do it . The item came on time all though for some reason the post office declined to deliver it so I had to pick it up from the post office which is not sellers fault except for using post office to begin with. My wife purchased this to replace the hard case we had before. Construction wise it seems good however it's hard to say how well it will perform untill it is in the water or fire but hopefully that will never happen. Looks wise it kinda looks like a purse a hooker would carry durring the Disco era. What really matters is will it perform it's job if need be. I think it will.

Well made product and surprisingly light weight. Smooth surfaces that do not snag or tear. No odor either. Holds my life insurance policies, real estate & tax documents, banking, birth and death records, titles and licenses, photos and children’s drawings. I’m buying more as Christmas gifts. So glad I found this product.

The product is well made. It looks and feels solid. It seals tight with a zipper and Velcro flap. It is big enough to hold a 2-inch binder. I plan to buy another one.

Due to a recent event in family, wherein they almost lost some important documents to fire, I was skeptical about my place. Found good reviews and specifications of this bag and ordered. Bag meets the specifications & details provided. Looks durable as well. Worth the money.

I just received my bag at the end of the week. I have not used it yet, but it is everything I expected! Prefer bag over safe. Don’t have to keep up with keys and very portable to grab and go if necessary. Thanks

The documents fit nicely, contrary to other reviews I've read. Put them in endways and turn them 90 degrees.Looks like silicone coated fiberglass cloth so should resist fire nicely.. Closes with a zipper, backed up with a fireproof flap secured by velcro.Very happy. Hope it is never put to the test!
