Denver DM-24 Standard Discman

Excellent delivery time and well packaged, i put it through its paces, Firstly playing it as a stand alone cd player it performed well although i replaced the headphones as the pair supplied are not too good. However with a decent pair the sound is good. the volume is fine for on the move use. I then linked the unit with a pair of mains powered mini speakers for indoors stationery use,this increased the volume available and made it more than adequate for home use. I then linked the unit to play through my seperates hi-fi unit with good results. In general i would recommend this cd player for both on the go and home use. But just two points may help, Firstly buy acd carry bag for on the go usage with beltclip. secondly get a mains adaptor for home use. These are both available from Amazon i will now use this everyday.good value and sofar-sogood.

I ordered this product for audio books. The CD player does not bookmark where you leave it and is not anti shock. I contacted the sellers who explained that the reviews under this product are about 2 different CD players and I had ordered the cheaper product. I found this very misleading, possibly my naivety, but I was disappointed. Please be careful which player you order. I will say the sound is clear, but I have to find where I left it each time and it jumps with slight movement.

Bought for my sister in law after an operation, which left her bed bound for a few days, unable to focus on reading or watching TV, she found listening to selected plays on the CD player just perfect for when she could not sleep at night. Works well with rechargeable batteries, as I forgot to purchase the mains lead at the same time. This has subsequently been purchased.It is surprisingly resilient as it has fallen off the bed a few times, but still retained it's place on the track. It fitted perfectly into a small bag, which enabled her to listen while going through the early stages of learning to walk again and distracted her from the initial stages of discomfort.The Denver DM-24 Standard Discman has been a bit of a life saver. If you know anyone going into hospital, this is a real alternative to grapes and it will last a lot longer and probably give a lot more satisfaction.

earphones no good quality

Good playback features on a small, compact item that represents good value for money. Used to play discs in the conservatory or in the garden in conjunction with mini-speakers. Easy to set up and use. No problems with it.

Love this CD player, wish I had bought it sooner.

I use this to listen to fiction - it's far better than the ones of more well know manufacturers and compares with the old Sony Walkman.
