Great for upgrading older laptops to the max supported RAM. I purchased the 8 GB (2x4GB) and used it an older Dell Latitude E6500. They work great. If you don't know what RAM to get goto one of the major RAM manufacturers websites and search for your Brand and Model.

So far so good. First off, I was pretty sure that these were what I needed after checking compatability online. So, I do recommend making sure before purchasing only because it's not inexpensive and who wants to deal with a return?That being said, I installed them into my laptop without issue. Properties show that I have 8 gb of RAM now. I feel that it is processing much faster which was the purpose. It is still early, but there is a LIFETIME WARRANTY so how can you go wrong?If anything changes, will update.

I need a memory upgrade for an older laptop. Crucial had what I needed but wanted $300 & I wasn't willing to pay that. This family company had what I wanted for less than a third of that. I know that cheaper RAM doesn't always work as well, but this works fine. I also did a memory test, so I'm sure I came out ahead.

A checked on this yesterday, and asked if it would fit my Toshiba P500 laptop. Based on the answers I got, I ordered the pair (8Gb total). This morning, it arrived. I removed the old ones, inserted the new one. They fit right in, and the computer runs. It says it finds a total of 8 GBytes of RAM.After running for over a week, there have been no problems with the memory.Life is beautiful.

These chips were an easy install and increased my Laptops speed as well as less delay using progams as there's adequate memory to do what I intend. Inexpensive improvement for every laptop using this type of memory.

Note to installers, remember to pop out the internal battery while swapping out ram or you're laptop might kinda freak out. At least mine did. But then I went back popped the battery out swapped positions and everything was good to go. Been running great ever since. Stuff arrived in about 2 days even with the free shipping. Description of the part was spot on to what I recieved. Ill most likely be upgrading my wifes laptop soon and will use again.

Would like to return the product. When the chips were installed the computer did not boot up. I put the original (2) 2GB chips back in and it booted up so I know the computer works. Let me know the return policy please.UpdateHave waited over a week for someone let me know the return policy. No one has called or written.

Used this on a old Sony Vaio N220E laptop and made a significant difference in terms of multitasking.

It was cheap but not as expected. 2x2gb instead of 1x 4gb.I was refunded no problems
