2 Tier Bronzed Metal Scrolled Storage Fruit Basket Kitchen Organizer

I ordered two of these but could not assemble one functioning stand from all the parts. The way it works is you have 6 upright pieces that comprise the three legs of the stand (two on each of three sides). The two pieces of each leg are held together by a machine screw, but the screw does not fit into the designated hole - it just strips. On each leg are three holes to hold the basket. Each basket has three attached screws that (in theory) fit through each of the leg holes. Then nuts are threaded onto the basket screws holding the legs in place. The metal of the legs and baskets are painted to appear a rustic brown. Unfortunately in in the process many of the basket screw threads were painted as well, so that the nuts could not be threaded at all. In addition, some of the leg holes were not correctly machined so that they have left-over metal tags (large burrs) that keep the screws from fitting into the holes at all. Finally the "chicken wire" floors of the baskets should have the upper edges of the chicken wire spot welded onto the metal of the basket rim, but for one of the four baskets in my order, some of that chicken wire was not welded, leaving sharp exposed pointy pieces of metal right where your hands are most likely to be.

I received a black wrought iron fruit basket holder, not bronzed. It was cheaper than it looks in the picture also, aside from the material discrepancy. The nuts had to be installed on the outside of the holder rather than the inside. Once assembled and filled with fruit it looks great in my kitchen. With the selection on amazon, I'm not disappointed with the product:cost ratio. I just wished I had known what I was getting when I ordered.

This matches my kitchen perfectly and the baskets are really roomy. I'm really disappointed in the hardware that is used to put it together. It wasn't hard to assemble, but some of the screws wouldn't go in completely and the threaded bolts remain exposed because no caps are included. For this fact alone, I gave it 3 stars instead of 5.

It looks nice, but the quality is very poor. For the price, I expected something much better. Also, some of the screws that come with the item did not fit, so I had to buy different ones.

For the price, it should have been of better quality. Exposed screws should have bronze screw covers to give a more finished look. I actually found a heavier more attractive one, for less money, at a local store.

Hard to put together. Screws did not thread easily.Not what we expected but my wife likes it and wants to keep it.

Everything for the product is what I expected and is very nice, u can tell its made in china and u get what you paid for. Inexpensive but nice maybe a little on the cheap side.

This basket comes in pieces & a little more work to assemble than I cared for a fruit basket. One of the screws were stripped also. It is still a nice basket
