Buy this one
I have used 2 other kinds of bathtub refinishing kits, one from a MAJOR label, and they are crap. This one is the real deal. It rolls on easily, and there is ample product to cover a much larger surface. This low odour coating was a dream to apply, covers easily and does not run if you dont apply too much on vertical surfaces. The finish is HARD- I let the finish cure for 4 days, and you will need to remove masking tape as soon after the second coat as possible. The surface texture is slightly orange-peel, hardly noticeable and does not detract from the finish.

Great product!
I have used both the pour on and now the roll on version. The pour on was difficult, so once I seen the roll on version I knew I had to try it. I had a bad tub! It was rusted and someone had previously spray painted it which peeled. Two coats didn't cut it. I had to do another. Is the tub perfect? No, but it is at least usable now. The product is really great. It's quality and it's also durable. Does it require practice? Yes. I think that's why alot of ppl aren't happy with it. They think it will give them the perfect tub. But something like this does require some skill and patience. I have noticed I've gotten better at using the product. I've done 2 tubs and 4 showers now. But my stuff still has some imperfect spots. I am happy with it tho. It beats buying and replacing the stuff as that isn't a easy task. I noticed the roll on stuff didn't give as even as a finish. It kind of gives a texture, but I'm okay with it as the ease of application is so much better. My suggestion if your not happy with the way yours turned out, do another coat. U can keep applying it. You will get better and better results each time. This stuff is way better than any painting kit. It lasts. It's hard as a rock. It is a bit slippery so keep that in mind. It does have a smell. I used a mask. I will use it again and I'm very grateful they created it.

good product, much better than some of the older ones.
Product worked well. Tub ended up looking very good. We'll have to see how long it holds up. Last product held up for 3 years. Thank goodness the terrible smell is gone. Overall satisfied with the product and the ease of application. Time will tell how sturdy product really is.

Okay
I have worked with bathtub refinisher less than 1/4 of the price of this item and I had better results.I had pocket eye everywhere.Update: even though the above statement is true, it hardens well with a glossy finish.

Pretty Good
Ok it was easy to apply. I still ended up with some fisheyes on top of the tub. With guidance from customer support( awesome by the way) I sanded smooth (the first coat) where the fisheyes were. It was better but I still had a few. I see where I made some mistakes. No doubt I would do much better the second time applying this. So far it’s staying bonded to the old tub. I cleaned it four times and still had fisheye so I’m thinking it was the humidity. (Which was high that day) Overall the tub looks brand new. I also applied the skid resistant epoxy. Very easy to do but I still had large pieces of sand or whatever is in there to made it nonslip. Not sure what I did wrong. Maybe rolled it too much. Can’t express enough to make sure the tub is free of all silicone and soap scum etc. I used two entire bottles of toilet bowl cleaner and used a rotating scrubber (attached to my drill)Triple made sure there was no hair or dust or lint in the tub. Wore long sleeve and a hat and I still ended up with lint and a couple hairs. Had the heat off and windows closed and at 72-75 degrees. Time will tell how durable this is but like I said the tub looks new. I can see the mistakes but everyone that sees it doesn’t until I point them out. Cost me total about $175. Professional job I was quoted $600. All in all I would do this again. One more thingI had trouble with the drain and taking the tape off after the second coat and waiting 45 minutes. I think if this product fails it will fail by the drain.
