They work. And if you need a tiny screwdriver to poke your brother with and annoy him, I recommend this one for the durability it provides during long term poking.

Measures at 1.32mm diameter, which is outside the acceptable tolerance for a 1.5mm spring bar. See pics for comparison to a 1.5mm spring bar. Other than that these are fine, but if your end links fit a 1.5mm bar you don't want these.

I took it to a watch repair shop, and they eventually found a spring bar that worked. BUT, it didn't work for long. Turns out they installed a 19 mm bar when my watch needed a 20 mm bar. Another unique thing about my watch is it needed rather thin spring bars. 1.5 mm diameter ones. These are a bit hard to find. You can get kits with tons of sizes of bars for really cheap, but from reading their reviews many of them are junk. These bars from Olytop were customer rated as strong. Package came with 8 bars (6 more than I needed, but hey, now I have spares) and a spring bar tool (that I also didn't need, I'll give it to my SIL). I'm a happy camper now.

I bought these to replace a broken spring bar in my Orient Mako II watch. They have worked perfectly so far.The fit with the mako end link is nice and snug and it doesn't move or rattle when I shake my wrist. The provided tool is not necessary but it was surprisingly useful and made the process super easy. All in all great value for this purchase.

These are imperceptibly longer than standard 20mm pins so I had terrible time getting them to fit and they completely done fit in one of my 20mm lug watches which makes them useless. Even if I jammed it in I’d never get them out with the steel bracelet covering them

Measure the connection point. This was a replacement for a 20mm Lucien Piccard watch & band per the specifications. The connection was 22mm and this would not fit and look as nice as the original. This is 20mm and not tapered which you would expect an OEM replacement would be. Measure first. Seller reached out me and offered to send 22mm watch band. upgraded the review.

They did not fit my watch. I fiddled around for around an hour I could not get the pins to fit! Then I took the same size pin from another watch and they worked! Maybe buy a few different sizes to be safe. The tool they provide gets A changed band or two so that’s why it has some value still.

Can you get by without this tool? Yes. But, if you need spring bars anyway, might as well get them with one of these. The bar I installed has held up great ever since. No issues at all, despite it being a daily driver.
