Works great. Well made and best price anywhere. You ABSOLUTELY NEED to make a wide base to use this stand. I have attached a pic. The stand is heavy duty, but the weight of a shock would tip it over and especially when trying to loosen the cap nut on a coilover, it would tip over. Having a base would also allow you to stand safely behind the press while working.

This tool is amazing!!! It is really sturdy and gives a comforting sense of safety while performing one of the most dangerous auto repair activities. My only negative comments are about the directions which should state that 1) make sure that you allow enough room (use the top stop) so that the spring can fully extend when dismantling and 2) place the passenger side strut upside down in the tool so that the tool grips it more securely.

This compressor is utterly useless . Right out of the box it was assembled and the pump cylinder was not compressing . When the trucks coil was installed into the mounts the pump would decompress and you would have to continuously pump the handle to compress the spring. After repeated attempts the oil in the cylinder shot out of the adjustment screw and no longer worked. Ended up traveling to auto parts store and renting a compression tool. Complete waste of money and throwing it into the dumpster. It’s not like you can wait around for a replacement when the vehicle is in the air and front suspension is disassembled. Very frustrating to stop everything and go out and get a tool that works .

AC delco small struts cannot be compressed with the cheap "widow makers" because the top hat and the bottom plate of the struts get in the way of long screw bolt. Those are also really unsafe. This one worked well and the chain provided an extra degree of safety. Vevor compression tool works for large SUVs as well because it comes with larger coil plates. Highly recommend it.

Very easy to set up. Product was a little unbalanced. Cheap and looks like it a reasonable product

If you have to do struts this is the best tool I have used for it, makes it much easier and safer. Well worth the expense.

Works pretty good

After watching several YouTube videos on this product, I am willing to try it when it comes time to change the front shocks on my Ford Raptor. I've been warned by many how DANGEROUS it is to compress coil springs and since I'm not a 70 year old daredevil, I looked around at different options. This is a heavy, welded solidly tool with a SAFETY CHAIN which I would feel better if it was thicker, but should contain any wild flying coils. The included instructions are good for starting a fire and nothing else. I'm satisfied with the quality of this tool for the price I paid. If it doesn't work as well as I hope, I'll update this post....if I'm not dead.

This press makes fitting car springs easy to install. Quality item and value for money. I should have bought one years ago. It works exactly as it should and a lot safer than using clamps. It’s the perfect size and sits in the corner of the garage until needed.

Ottimo attrezzo, robusto e ben fatto, si riesce ad adattare abbastanza facilmente anche con molle di piccolo diametro. Ottima pure i due fori di fissaggio a terra a incrocio, unica pecca se si vuol trovare un difetto è che personalmente al posto della grossa catena per il la sicurezza della molla forse avrei preferito un canapo di acciaio che sarebbe stato più pratico e meno ingombrante .

Super outil. Facilite grandement la compression du ressort afin de remplacer l'amortisseur. Utilisé sur bmw 130i . L'outil est bien fabriqué, solide, il y a même 4 joints de rechange en cas de fuite de verrin. Franchement je recommande à 100% et vu le prix foncer sans réfléchir.
