Well, this is certainly the most unusual product that I've used to remove hard skin from my feet!! Never tried those nibbling fish so I can't make a comparison in terms of the result! Putting my foot into the oddly shaped gel-filled sock was an interesting experience. It feels really cold on the skin and as you secure the tape the cold feeling spreads around the side and over the top of your feet.This is probably due to the fact the the socks look big enough for someone with size12 feet and I'm only size 4! There's no weird chemical smell, stinging or burning just a light floral fragrance. When both feet have been encased in polythene the gel moves around and walking makes it squish from side to side, a bit like walking on big bubble bubble wrap. After the indicated time, I removed the polythene socks and washed off the gel. The skin on both feet looked much brighter which I didn't expect but was pleased about and the soles of my feet felt softer even though the 'hard skin' areas were still there. The next day I noticed a few areas on both feet where the skin was already coming away. It looks like when you get a 'wet burn' where a thin layer of skin lifts away and is filled with fluid. This looks similar except there is no fluid underneath. By the third day I noticed the skin on the top and sides of my feet peeling away. I presumed this had happened because having smaller feet meant that the gel ended up going arounds the sides and top of my feet. At this stage I hadn't soaked my feet for 20 minutes in warm water as instructed as I hadn't read all the instructions right to the end!! This is really IMPORTANT as the soaking seems to activate the peeling process. Once I had soaked my feet for the first time I was really surprised how much skin was lifting away and i can confirm that it looks exactly like what you see in the photo. It's a bit like a snake shedding its skin!! By the end of the first week the majority of the 'soul skin' had lifted away. it's surprising how thick it is. The skin on the sides and tops of my feet continued to lift but the skin is significantly thinner so it was easier to just rub it away with a damp flannel after drying your feet. I used foot cream each day after soaking and by the time all the soul skin had gone my feet felt as soft and smooth as a babies bottom!! It's a lovely feeling; each step feels like you are almost floating, like walking on air!! Sadly, by the end of 4 weeks and despite using a pumice stone on my feet every day, that old, hard feeling had returned :( Now I'm feeling desperate to get that feeling of 'pure and innocence' back. It's been a month and the instructions say I can do it again. So I rush for the second packet in the box and remove the cellophane to find my hands covered in gel. I open the packet and most of the gel has leaked out and there is barely enough to cover both feet. Needless to say the second time around was a disappointment. There was minimal peeling as there wasn't enough gel. Now that I've tried the foot mask, I hope it will be around for a very long time so I won't have to go without. Im sure other converts feel the same!!

Worked ok for refreshing before sandal season but probably won't be much help for thicker callouses. Came in in super minimal packaging which is brilliant.

I left these on over night. Secured them by wearing socks. Leaked a little onto socks but minimal. Did as they instructions said soaked my feel daily. Either in my foot spa or bath. Sadly after one week still nothing. 10 days still nothing. 2 weeks later I notice 2 bubbles on my heels. Thought they may be blisters but when I pulled them a whole layer of skin came off. I pulled it bit more and it was like I was pulling a sock of skin off. Same on both feet. Toes and in between. Couldn’t believe it. Quite gross but satisfying. Still a couple of hard patches on my heels but but they were bad. Feet feel great. Will use the other one next week I think. So don’t give up if you think it’s not working !!

Wow where do I start?!So I saw these and bought them for myself and my mum...We took them out of the packet and put on the socks... they are very squelchy if you move your feet around and the liquid was pretty cold. Smell wasn’t unpleasant.Waited the allotted time and rinsed off...The real magic begins about 3 days later, a small flap of skin started peeling then in the days following it slowly peeled off (my mums was coming off in big bits)They definitely work! I was amazed and will do another one

Finally got around to using these tonight, months after buying. Absolutely appalling design that bears no resemblance to that depicted on the instructions. The sock somehow manages to be too short, too tall and have no ankle — all at once. Can only assume it was dreamt up by someone who’s never seen a real foot. Will not be buying again.EATING HUMBLE PIE UPDATE: I still think the design is ghastly. HOWEVER, my feet have been peeling for days, so clearly what this lacks in mask shape it makes up for in fantastic chemical effect. Would now consider buying again. I've used these foot masks for around 18 months and love them.I use every 3 months or so.Put socks on for an hour and remove, wash feet and then wait.Feet start to peel after about 4 days and takes up to 2 weeks (so best to do thiscwfen you know you'll not be wearing open shoes for a week or 2)Leaves feet baby soft.My heels were awful and crusty before I started using these.Don't leave on for longer than an hour, I fell asleep with them on once and they irritating my excema on the top of my foot, took days to relieve it. I felt like ripping the skin off for a day or 2.

These are not great the plastic bag socks are huge so you then have to wrap them up to fit with liquid in them you are only given 4 stickers which are rubbish and come unstuck after a while you can’t walk around in them because they rip and leak ,I even put socks on and they still ripped. After 3 days skins started peeling but only soft skin not any hard skin so after a week used the second pair as advised still only peeled the soft new skin not the hard heel skin which is why I purchased them. Don’t waste your money.
