I would recommend this product
I wore it for my Halloween costume this year w/ a white shirt & white pants. Everyone commented how sharp it looked. I would recommend this product. It is an easy outfit to put together. The sailor costume was perfect for me. I did read the reviews before I purchased it & as was suggested, it did need ironing. I used a steam iron & it was fine. Pressing/ironing will be needed! Hope it works for you as it did for me! God bless!

Item as expected - served its limited purpose - would buy again.
I purchased this item for my daughter's play...it was a one time use item. For the money, which is not much at all, the quality was as expected. This is not a hat for the high seas :). Since this was for a child, the hat ran a little big so I cannot comment on any fitment issues - I expected the hat to fit a little big. The scarf was fine as well and served its purpose. Many kids wore it for the plays they had to perform and the items held up just fine. For our purpose, I recommend the item and the price point was just right.

Simple and easy sailor costume.
Great product! I had a white shirt I wore it with and some navy capris Rafaella Women's Petite Double Weave Slim Capri with Embellishment, Midnight Navy, 14 Petite and it was a perfect sailor outfit. I wish the neck piece had some design on it and was going to order iron on embroidered stars, but didn't have time before halloween.

Feels and Looks VERY Cheap!
Other reviewers commented on the fact his suit felt 'cheap', but I was still surprised at how 'cheap' the cap and scarf looked when I received this set. The hat was very large and the fabric was so thin that it was semi-transparent. The scarf was cheaply made (weird fabric and fraying seams) and arrived super wrinkled. I had planned to wear this with classic style wool sailor pants and a nice top but decided this set really threw off the whole costume- ended up seeking out scarf and hat at thrift store instead.
