Very small and useful!
Bought this adapter to increase the storage of a MacBook Air (13''), since it is the smallest available on amazon.co.uk. It works flawlessly with a 32Gb class 10 microSD, and is about the same depth as the MagSafe 2 plug. The only drawback is the LED, which is quite bright (and red), and somewhat distracting.

Solid little device
All the reviews had been good and having received it today they seem to be correct. A solid little thing just perfect for plugging into my car radio's USB slot and it doesn't protrude too much or get in the way. Just one note - when you first get it, pushing the SD card in might seem a little difficult and it would appear that the cap doesn't fit on. You just have to use a little more force than you would expect and it will finally click into place. After the first time it goes in and comes out with no problems whatsoever. Look at the photos and film to see which way the SD card goes in. When you're done the cap snaps on securely.

Waste of money! - do not buy!
This product like many similar ones is a waste of time and money, as it breaks a few weeks after purchase....just when you have run out of time to return it!It looks good and convenience but its rubbish, as i used it very lightly and carefully but it just suddenly failed to read any card, flashing red but doing nothing. Its obvious that these days manufacturers and sellers of products like these only care about the sale of the items and absolutely nothing about quality. They barely put in just enough effort re quality and 'fit for purpose' just long enough to 'pass it off' to us poor buyers as a 'worthy product' and once bought they rely on either people not bothered to return it because of the costs as its cheap, or that most of us will also most likely not bother to leave a review to warn others, we would rather use our time and energy to just go buy something else.So there you go, a 100% honest review, warning you that this product is rubbish and you shouldn't waste you time or money buying it, as it will break pretty soon!

Dodgy...
Very neat. Clever design, where the micro-SD card itself forms the spacer in the USB plug. Difficult to imagine being any smaller. It's easy to lose the cap, though!Bought four of these. One never worked. A second one failed after a little use. Third one has now died. Will look for a different one now.

good product
Extremely compact as shown in the photos, i needed a small reader for a tablet and this one does the job perfectly. I had some troubles inserting the micro sd the first few times i used the device because the slot is tight but then i noticed the sd goes in smoothly if you incline it slightly

It doesn't fit!
I hate to be the first person to write a negative review about a product, but I think it's deserved in this case. The USB connector on this product simply doesn't fit into either of the two USB ports on my MacBook Pro, nor does it fit into the USB port on my Samsung Blu-ray player, even after pushing it harder than I perhaps should have. Comparing this product's USB connector to those on other devices I own reveals the reason it doesn't fit is because it's too wide.I don't know why no-one else has reported this problem, but I've owned tens of other USB devices over the years and have never encountered another USB connector that doesn't fit in a standard USB port!

Works well.
I am using this in my car radio with a 16Gb microSD card to store a LOAD of MP3 files. Funny enough the radio itself could only manage 128 folders (with up to 500 songs in each folder) so I had to rearrange the MP3 files somewhat to make full use of it.The slightly unusual design means that the USB connector is missing the usual metal shroud - but as long as you make sure the metal contacts meet the ones in the socket it works fine.

Completely useless
It's miles too big to fit in any USB socket, and I tried a dozen of them. Total waste of time.
